As we all know, setting up camp takes way more than 20mins And breaking down is way more Ive tent camped all my life, suv packed full But having a hard side trailer changed everything Comfy bed, own bathroom with shower House on wheels, and they pull easy Maintenance and up keep is pricey tho Makes tent camping cheap Comment from : @PaulKalstad |

Turn off the background music It is beyond me why YouTube content creators think playing background music over their voice is somehow enhancing their videos, it is not, it is distracting We came to hear you, not to fight background music which quickly becomes extremely annoying and intrusive Many folks have hearing difficulties, thus while concentrating on your voice they must also concentrate on tuning out the music; frustrating Your background music ruins an otherwise exceptionally good presentation Comment from : @ricdonato4328 |

Contemplating still Although I have to say nobody should ban any kind of campers If a bear wants to come in and get hit with a 44 magnum slug in the face, that’s its business By the way, the ad that just popped up as I was watching, was for a bearskin hoodie How ironic Comment from : @KevinMphotography |
Having only 30 minutes for set up is nothing compared to my husband who wanted everything just so So it would take about 2 hours to get all set with the canopy to be able to sit and relax Oh and take down was just as long Comment from : @pamelabudrow8699 |

Glad this popped up (no pun intended) on my home page We've been thinking about getting a camper to boondock in the national forests around us (Arizona) but have an older jeep with an underpowered V6 and 3500 pound towing capacity, which translates in the real world to maybe 2000 pounds Comment from : @randymartin5521 |
You must be from alabama Comment from : @holdencawffle626 |
Thanks, that's a helpful video I had to laugh, though The idea that some places won't allow a popup because they have bears in the area as a 35 year tent camper in Alaska, I just can't wrap my head around that Those campgrounds should educate campers about clean camps and bear safety, not reject business over unnecessary fears Comment from : @timhammond4522 |
We love our popup! It's a 97 Flagstaff that we've had about 15 years We've taken it so many places We did spend the money to buy the screen room that attaches to the awning and it was totally worth it It gave us so much more space to spread out and also get away from the bugs in the evening Over the years we have our setup down to about 20 minutes lol I agree it's really important though to take only what you really use and have stuff specifically for the camper, makes it all much easier Comment from : @redshed2020 |

We had a basic popup No heater Icebox, not frig We did many of the same things that the video points out Some additional ideas Got a small apartment frig Moved the picnic table under the awning and put the frig on the table by the camper in order to plug in Was able to place the frig inside the pop up, on the floor thru the half door for traveling Used all plastic utensils, plastic cups, paper coffee cups and plates Just threw everything away after use Used bag chairs Got astroturf carpet piece for under the awning Easy to fold up and clean Did not bring perishable food (milk, eggs, bread, etc) Just went shopping when we got there Comment from : @alverstone14586 |

Thanks for the info, very interesting , I'm planning on retirement this summer, and to be honest I was thinking more of an RV, of course a used one, I'm not a rich man, but now that I've seen your video the pop-up seems very practical , because I also have a V6 1500 ram ,and my max weight is about 5,000 , so by the time I pack it up with all the goodies, I'll be right in my max ,and it seems very cozy so now I'm leaning towards the pop-up I thank you for your video it made a believer out of me 👍🇺🇸 Comment from : @jessegodoy1067 |

We bought a fully loaded fancy popup in 2000 Had tons if problems, but learned we didn't need hot/cold running water or other fancy things We downsized to a Jayco eagle 10ud and have camped with our children since their birth and through 21 years brWe don't use on-board water at all You can use the sink as storage during the trip, or just cover it with a tray Comment from : @streger |
Thanks for sharing I live in Milwaukee Wisconsin and have 6 camping trips planned for this year with my 92 Jayco Pop-Up I can’t wait until Memorial Day Weekend So I have a portable toilet and I use it for only # 1 and have it set up in a shower/changing tent They sale them at Walmart The porta potty is not that bad to deal with Please continue to video tape your vacations this summer I keep saying that I’ve got to do a video on my pop-up and put it up on my YouTube page Happy Camping 😊 Comment from : @michaelrobinson8731 |
