There are 5000 Chinese characters, only a couple of hundred characters are used Pathetic vocabulary, impossible to incorporate western technology terminology ,equations etc As is evident at teaching levels Western vocabulary is flexible ,26 letters which can be arranged in multiple ways to produce a word Simple, intelligent, smart, easy etc Not impressed with ridiculous symbols

Sadly whoever did the English sounding word of the Chinese sound did a horrible job That was back in the days I know a certain amount of Mandarin even though I was brought up with English For the Chinese word of Heaven, it is more accurate to pronounce is as Thien than Tian Cos the first guy to do this is ignorance of either English or Mandarin Sadly Would be nice if someone redo the Peyin
