Hi Dr Tarcey Marks, thank you for making this video Throughout my life, my dad has been my best friend, he has been listening to me, we always had deeper meaningful conversations about anything and everything in life He died unexpectedly, and I am left all alone My mom wants me to listen to her problems , solve them, but never listens when I speak or atleast tell her about the future plans I am longing for inperson human interactions, deeper meaningful conversations with someone who aligns with my interest or make new friends I am learning Drawing , for self expression , I believe sharing my emotions/story and experiences through art might help me find right people in life and help me come out of the echo chamber that I am currently living in

Hello It is sad, disappointing and hopeless to live in a world/society that not share my values/dreams/goals I am 43 years old, and I don't have true friends neither relationships I think I am sociable, nevertheless the common people around me do not have empaty neither life histories similar to me as for understand meThey neither have likes/interests comparible with mine as for enjoy exciting talks together a coffee cup or dinner I feel like out of the Matrix of selfish, vain, banal, shallow, empty, narcissistic, machiavelle and psycophat people that abounds in this mad world

With vulnerability, what do you do if the people closest to you's response is that they need to move on and close connections? Part of the reason its just hard to communicate is that for some reason the consistent response ranges from "I dont understand" to "I dont want to deal with this" if any concern is voiced at all, or this specific concern being reason to drop things entirely and its hard to understand how this can be resolved

C-PTSD here I'm realizing that I was trying to find one person that could check all my loneliness boxes, which is unrealistic and also unfair to that person brIn another video, I found out that there is something called fear of betrayal which is different from fear of abandonment (i was misdiagnosed bpd by unqualified professionals (general md, social worker) It was never "i fear they will leave" it was "I fear they lied" or "I fear it's not real" brbrThat clears a path for me Thank you

Caution with “reaching out to family and friends in order to deepen your relationship”: if these people have already known you for years but you still feel lonely in their presence there’s a reason they are fine with that arrangement You might explore meeting someone outside that familiar circle
