I am a university professor and I used to dress very, very presentably and well for work It was all professional but a little more special than usual I was receiving incessant comments from the students about my outfits The comments were positive and, with the exception to one, not inappropriate but it was inappropriate for the students to comment on my clothes So I stopped Now I wear the same beige outfit every day I teach The students now pay attention to my teaching only and, sad to say, but it works out much better for me professionally So there you have it, "invisawear" is sometimes what I prefer

I also like having some kind of style and dress accordingly at work Nothing special or revealing just usual stuff and senior executives would always compliment me for how I lookSadly, some seniors would talk behind my back as a person who only care about looks only & as if I’m trying to get male attention 😅 even they know that I’m also competent in my area of work

I love watching film footage of ordinary people in the 30's 40's 50's 60's even 70's going about their day, doing ordinary stuff like grocery shopping The majority dressed really well Working class men often wore a suit and a cap on the 20's and 30's My Grand-Mother - born 1906 dressed well She didn't have many clothes in her wardrobe, but what she had was nice brNowadays, the shops are full of the most beautiful clothes but you never see anyone wearing them Most people will wear jeans and a hoodie and trainers - so boring I was once sat outside a cafe on a hot summers day and four elderly ladies walked by, in pretty summer dresses and they each carried a parasole I stopped one of them to say how lovely they all looked She said she and her friends always dressed that way when they met up It was like seeing people from another era, a very charming, soft and more genteel era It would be good to see everyone make an effort as we would all enjoy looking at people wearing beautiful outfits I have just bought a very out there coat and this has really helped me to look forward to wearing it I hope it brings joy to others to see me wearing it

Not necessarily clothing but still standing out in the mass of phone focused people- I love to crochet and I started to crochet in the bus or the train, and sometimes people comment on it, sometimes they just smile, and occasionally I'll even overhear a conversation changing topics inspired by my activity

easier approach: see other people and extend love to them wanting to be seen isnt about what the eyes see, but much deeper it is the love in our hearts that makes the connection, and that is beyond seeing that is vision no easier way to be seen than to genuinely see others from the heart no easier way to cure loneliness than to interrupt self-absorption and focus on the people around you instead and the lovely moments you can share with them what you wear is virtually irrelevant
