3:16 Yeah In English, “The gnome threw a stone at the dog” and “At the dog the gnome a stone threw” have completely different meanings Compare that to Russian “Гном бросил камень в собаку” and “В собаку гном камень бросил” both mean the same things

I've been told the majority of my Russian vocabulary is unacceptable particularly got told by a friend's mom after he was teaching bad words, sweet lady but never have I feared for my life more than we she walked into the room with a shoe while we were playing cod, that was like 13 years ago I'm 20 now and learning Russian because idk food and girls I guess, I just enjoy the sound of it is probably the best reason

Actually makes sense As a child in most all languages you learn word associated concepts English highlighted grammar to effect not just listening, speaking, but the reading, and writing also Why English gets confusing for even English speaking So things like mom, dad, friend, enemy, road, basically common things among language Vocabulary isn't taking a backseat in English, on the contrary there's no English speaking that speak the same kinds, others aren't really compatible with modern times, depending on the region

Thank you very much Fedor, you have just gven me the right way to learn RussianbrbrI have just completed a Udemy course in Russian and I completely went about it the wrong way I have spent more than one year on it and I got stuck in grammar I actually know very littlebrbrI speak Afrikaans, my mother tongue, and English fluently I also took German and LatinbrbrBy the way, I wont recommend the course I've just done It is poorly constructed and without goals The person who compiled it as very good at Russian but has definitely not received any training as a pedagodue I literally wasted months trying to find out what I actually had to learn
