I can already speak Afrikaans which is very closely related to German and helps a lot (I am only 15 but the language is truly fascinating to me, and I would love to learn it) I enjoy listening To Rammstein so that is a big motivation

I have an interesting situation I started working in a call center in english and there was a lack of german speaking people so they taught us only the german we needed for our job, and during this time i learned a lot so i can’t even figure out what level i am I can speak it which is a problem for many beginners because they don’t talk to native germans daily, but i do so i picked up speaking, but i lack grammar and vocabulary pls help

Hi, I've made it to B2-C1 level, but once in Germany, I couldn't understand what they were saying, either it was fast or with some accent, also people are not patient ( which I can understand), to stop and wait for you to build your phrase I ended up frustrated, didn't want to talk or ask, kind of muted

The nebensatz is the most bullshit thing everbrIt makes sense but sometimes there are modal verben in the past or passive form, so it becomes painful to write/speak in German
