hey I know that's an oldish vid, but I can recommend you the 70s book series "Weltraumpartisanen", also known as the "Mark Brandis" series It's pretty fun, but not too complicated as it was meant for young adults, but it has a surprising amount of "bigger" and/or less common wordsbrWhile the books themselves are a bit hard to come by nowadays (I know, I try to complete my "original cover" collection), some got reprints and there's an ebook collection floating around, and they also made a pretty good audio play that may also help

Ich bin aus California Self studying here; pretty much nobody at all to practice with All I've got is a wealth of video games (Final Fantasy Pixel Perfect remasters, Blaster Master Zero), film/TV shows and YouTube Being from California, the most difficult thing I've come across is explaining to people around me why I'm been doing this My answer is more nuanced than this, but I just say, "Why not?" Otherwise, it's been very rewarding

Since nobody has done it yetbrDIESE KOMMENTARSEKTION IST NUN EIGENTUM DER BUNDESREPUBLIK DEUTSCHLAND!brbrOther than that, i can highly recommend Duolingo They make learning a language very playful with Reading, listening and speaking lessons What i have found too, learning more languages at the same time really is mindblowingly helpfull in my opinion I am learning Latin, Spain, French, russian and chinese at the same time, am a native german speaker and am fluent in english There are a TON of words with the same meaning in many languages and it is so much more easy to remember because you have way more repetition but in a fun way since the context is different

I remember doing german lessons for GCSE because electronics wasn't available (Schools choice, not mine) I hated it German is too much like english Mae Gymraeg yn gwell With the bilingualism stuff, it goodness really depends I'm technically bilingual, fluent in 2 langauges but my other language is Welsh I don't get to use it much, and I get weird looks if I speak it in some parts of england So in my case, being bilingual is borderline uselessbrbrAlso, a lot of the signage is translated at the lowest quality Going to a shop and seeing a sign that reads "ALLAN" is the same as going to a shop and seeing a sign that says "LEAVE" Though, seeing a sign that read "passanger drop off" and "parth colli teithiwr"(literally "traveller losing zone", which can be interpreted as "gypsy losing zone") outside a Uni does make me chuckle
