Something that I'm stuck onI live in Australiahere electricity is very expensiveand with our plan it doesn't matter what time I use it, it's the same expensive priceevery day Ive started recording water gas & electrical costtoday water was the usual 44 centsgas was 90 cents and electricity $180brChoosing the cheapest appliances to run in my house, the microwave and the pressure cooker, they all still run on electricity, as does the slow cooker and the air fryer So I bulk cook using the cheapest to run which is I believe the pressure cooker and the microwaveand yet they all use electricity too? It's got me thinking I should go back to using the gas stove top sometimes and maybe even the gas oven?brBut those appliances are renowned for being more expensive than the others?brI guess I'm just wishing it was easier to work out any differences in costsbrI would love to see that electricity come down more around my appliances and while they may be the cheapest appliances, I'm still dependent on electricity and every day it's still ALOT more than gasfrustrating😢brAny ideas would be appreciatedbrThanksbrGeorganne

I would live in a box on the corner of the worst neighborhood with only a bed and no vacations, before I eat bad or low quality food to save money I want my insides clean, my health to be optimal, my skin glowing and firm, and my body intact, even if it means sacrificing material decorations I fork over money on food because that's how I stay out of the hospital, stay healthy and looking young, and do not vacation or luxuriate in activities the same as adjacent colleagues in my tax bracket do It sucks, but it's the reality

More tipsYou can also use applesauce in exchange for oil in a recipe Chickpea/garbanzo beans liquid called Aquafaba I believe is another egg substitute Do yourself a favor and google egg substitutes because you are bound to have something in your house to use Beans and seeds of any kind can be sprouted or grown In the winter when fresh greens are not affordable you can make your own sprouts! Lentils are great because they sprout very fast and are delicious! You can also plant a grow to get more! brCelery, green onions, fresh ginger, lettuce, etc can all be regrown Google it or look for a YouTube video Apple leftovers can be turned into apple cider along with a dozen of other fruits including grapes Look that up too! You can save your onion and garlic scrapes and dehydrate to make onion and garlic powder When in doubt about anything you aren't using just google what you can use it for or substitute with If you have leftover coffee you can refrigerate and make iced coffee or use it to water certain plants, They will thank you

When you’re broke you can’t afford to be lazy, if you’re always broke all the time it’s because you’re lazy Every little bit helps and that includes cutting your own veg and fruits, cooking meals from scratch and utilizing what you have on hand without going out to buy more stuff Unfortunately convenience items are for frivolous spenders and the wealthy (they won’t be wealthy for long wasting money on it) otherwise it’s lazy people who don’t feel like having to do simple tasks Buy a bulk size box of crackers and put them into little baggies instead of buying individual packages Kids don’t care as long as they have a snack they like Try to reuse your baggies or get reusable ones There’s so many creative ways to save money and still live well I really love this channel

Remember cabbage is also cheap, along with potatoes, carrots and onions I challenged myself to make 3 meals a day for 1 month, using only these 4 vegs and 2 proteins - eggs and ground turkey I did it - 90 different meals! It saved me so much money and everything was delicious!

I was absolutely raised on margerine I survived 😉 As an adult I upgraded to real butter for my homemade bread The cost of the butter is offset by 1- baking my own bread 2- no alcohol or tobacco 3- no sodas, chips, cookies, etc For me this was a fair trade off Its worthwhile to look at our lifestyle and figure what we can swap around to prioritize the stuff we care more aboutbrLove your content ❤
