A while ago, I distilled a high ABV stout similar to Bourbon County and the result was a phenomenal tasting spirit It would not qualify as a whisky or any traditionsl spirit classification but rather a new class of spirits that is very flavorful

6:40 over a dusin times have i mistaken corona smell or corona-skunk whiffs as weed, it smells almost the same sometimes, and working as a bartender, some times im serving a corona and not thinking of it, and im just hit with a weed smell as i hand over a corona, and i think wow dude, atleast dont roll a joint in the pub FFS, than i remember that a cold corona in a hot pub with a lime in it smells very like hasjisj

Corona is getting too big for their boots recently (in NZ) So buying whiskey is probably close to being cheaper As for skunk, I have found Heineken and Steinlager to be the worse offenders; to the point that it smells like skunk 'weed' when you open a bottle

Rabbit Hole Brewing had a batch of their English Brown Ale distilled at Acre Distilling in Fort Worth, Hop Along Cassidy Which turned into a lovely whiskey with notes of chocolate from the grain bill and the aroma of Columbus & EKG hops are awesome The hop oils come across very well

I have been a Homebrewer for a long time and built a small pot still a few years back, but I don't really drink liquor very often so I only used it a few times The thing I love about home brewing is all the experimentation, I just purchased one of these countertop stills and with how much liquor I drink I am optimistic that it will be perfect for me to experiment with stuff like this, I am loving the channel and all the knowledge and ideas I am getting from you I think one of my first experiments will be making a fortified stout or maybe porter with spirits distilled from that same brew, any advice?

Most of these videos like this are the wrong way around -- instead you should either design a mixed drink cocktail recipe that tastes like Corona (but is 40 proof), OR some kind of recipe that uses Corona as the base in a cocktail recipe Preferably including something you distilled as one of the ingredientsbrbrFrankly, we all know damn well that distilling Corona down to whiskey isn't going to taste as good as just drinking it out of the bottle
