I bought a used New 3DS XL (SNES Version) in 2020, shortly before they were officially discontinued for just 190€, so 10€ below retail It did come with a scratch on the bottom screen, so I would have preferred to pay full price for a new one, but by that time, they were already all sold out The scratch isn't that noticeable so I don't mind that much I'm just glad that I got the console so cheaply now that the prices have skyrocketed

I did exactly this, homebrewing it into English was really easy, just make sure the tutorial you follow is recent though, I followed an out dated one that had me bookmark a website and press a link that said “GO GO GO!” and that strategy was patched out long ago
