I don't understand how Greenworks beat Ryobi when Ryobi finished first cutting the straws The final should had been EGO and Ryobi Specially how Ryobi outperformed the Greenworks in the Edger Evaluation (4th vs 6th) and the Obstacle (2nd vs 4th) and only lost in the charging time

While the gas trimmer ran 45 mins i can fill mine back up in less than 5 mins and be going again Most of us have a supply of gas mixed up so putting a run to the gas station in the time is dumb

Is Stihl the gas powered one because I don't think I can use that we have no storage unit for it It would smell like gas in our house and we don't want that We don't have a garage either I plan on getting an Ego I have the Ego lawn mower and that is awesome I just need another battery and they run you around 30 to like 60 dollars a pop Please tell me you didn't use Costco chickens That would be a complete waste

Random question What is the difference in shaft diameter in the milwaukee and ego? I want to use the milwaukee packout long tool organizer for my ego; but sounds like nothing bigger than the milwaukee trimmer will fit Wasn't sure if there was a difference between the two

I do not know if we can use it for comparison, but DeWalt has some attachments you can use One of those attachments is an edge trimmer And I suspect that their brush cutter attachment might be kinda rough on chickens 🙂

The trimmer is just one part of the one or two battery systems you get married into When batteries get old, even if never used, they die after 3-5 years The battery can cost more than the tool, so you need to evaluate a whole line of tools and choose the best SYSTEM Or spend $500 a year on new batteries as they die from all the brands in your collection

I had just bought the Ryobi weed eater the day before I watched this I didn't even get through the front yard before the battery died Plus, it wasn't that great as far as power You'd have to make several passes Returned it after watching this video and got the Ego No comparison ! On your edging test, it looks like you were nearly resting the DeWalt trimmer head in the grass I'm guessing you had really short line or something In any case, that DeWalt trimmer if used normally would have smoked the edging test

the ego trimmer is what turned me on to that brand about 4 or 5 years ago and I was so blown away is the brand I go to for everything now Still using mine with the original 25 ah battery with no issues but got bigger batteries now that came with other ego tools I got over the years

On the Ego, you used a rapid charger that didn't come with the trimmer It looks you charged it using a 550 W charger when it comes with a 320 W charger in a kit Using the kit charger, the charging time will be longer

I have the DeWALT DCST972X1 60V MAX 20v/60v Flex volt battery powered trimmer and it came with a 9AH battery, the battery is bigger than a brick, I can do my whole front and back yard with only using 30 of the battery, and I also changed the line to Max power twisted 095 trim line and this thing is so much better than my gas one x10, no gas, no engine noise, no pulling, no mixing oil, no worrying about the carburetor, no filter, no gas lines and no smell, no trip to the gas station, no smoke, no burning 👀👀

I own the exact EGO used in this video It is powerful, basically as powerful as my gas powered trimmer The one thing that took a while to get used to is the automatic string feed - the unit senses when the string is short and automatically, without the user having to do anything, feeds new string Its amazing at how well it works but takes a bit to adjust to because the string goes from short to suddenly full length, increasing it length 3 inches or so Thus, depending on what you are using it for, such as edging, that sudden additional 3 inches of string will initially dig deep and kick up dirt until you adjust the distance I've learned to anticipate it when the string gets to a certain length Its a great feature because the string literally never gets tangled but it takes several uses for the operator to adjust to the autofeed Its a great product and very powerful

I have the Milwaukee it doesn't seem like it takes that long to charge even the 12mah battery I also have the most powerful Echo brush cutter you can buy the Milwaukee is as powerful if not more Milwaukee is way lighter and doesn't kick when you hit real heavy grass it just cuts I also have the Milwaukee mower just gonna say it's the best push mower I've ever used
