Hey could you guide me which are the best set of books in the market available from bigger to advance level pianists which includes basic music theory all techniques like finger independence, hand cordinations ,scales, chords, arpeggios, trills, and the best pop and classical repertoire books? Comment from : @saumiljoshi9849 |
I do not need technical exercises when each measure of a song sheet can be played over and over to build finger technique, ear training and at same time learn a song Martha Agerich said that technical Exercises were already embedded in the piano piece itself… Comment from : @RangerB-16 |
Dear Mr Lee It will work definitely for me, thanks for your time, and I look forward to working with you once again You are a great teacher ❤ Comment from : @boksimpark2478 |

The most helpful part of this video is seeing that even an experienced pianist has to "figure things out" For some reason I have this feeling that it should not require work Comment from : @meropale |
The hanon one seems especially useful for the revolutionary etude from chopin like the starting octaves thing with both hands Comment from : @link4chunk522 |
Thank you for your lessons! You are a gem in the web 🤩 Comment from : @anatdk |
It's definitely helpful to look for patterns in the notes or the fingerings For example I'm trying to play parts of the Schubert Wanderer Fantasy In the 3rd movement starting in bar 65 we have that beautiful modulation, I noticed that the F flat stays the same for five bars, along with the D flat in the bass I took a colored pencil and drew a straight line through the F flats and D flats That simplified the chords a lot Comment from : @waverly2468 |
Nice video Very helpful and well presented Thanks Comment from : @karelriley2406 |

Do Hanon 2 octaves apartmakes it more comfortable! Comment from : @matthewferguson7084 |
If you've only got 15 minutes, why spend 5 minutes warming up? If you don't need the warm up, just work on your song Or warm up for a minute if you want I'm not saying technical exercises aren't good They can be done for their own sake if you want that Comment from : @richarddoan9172 |
Thanks im learning from you Comment from : @florenciohelencalpatura4004 |

Hello Jazer, I have a problem My six year old daughter loves music, and she likes to sing and dance very much, only she can get her pitch right 50 at the most Beats are also quite difficult for her I tried to help her with hand clapping, little drums, and piano companion for her singing, but only with limited progress She herself is not bothered by her terrible singing because she cannot tell she doesn’t get it right most of the times and we were just having fun But it bothers me sometimes I just want to know can there be any better way to improve a young child’s ear for pitch and beats? Wether you would respond or not, I want to say thank you I’m a big fan of your course You give me inspiration and confidence to pick up my piano practice again Comment from : @wenyuanzhang9116 |
Thanks ,Sir👍👍 Comment from : @madhavkunder7881 |

Muy bueno Profe Jazer, muchas gracias !!! Comment from : @ErnestoPNunez |
how do I move from one piece that I now know pretty well, to a new piece? Do I keep practicing the old piece? do I go back to it once in awhile? How do I know when I know the piece well enough to move on? How often do I go back and play pieces I have already learned? How many pieces can I practice at one sitting? Thank you, I have learned so much from your videos! Comment from : @lindart1 |

I practise about an hour a day, and 15 minutes of that is my brain mentally battling itself with me hunched over contemplating why I can’t do whatever it is I’m trying to do Comment from : @DoctorNerf |
I kind of disapprove the Hanon - it's a useless and non musical exercise Comment from : @MrPasqual1 |
Very useful concrete advice to get the most out of the available practice time Brilliant as always, thanks a lot Jazer!brA simple chord chart of the improvisation at the end (10:05) would be helpful, a starting point for our own improvisations so to speak The melody is not difficult but picking out the left hand with the muted notes is a bit of a challenge Comment from : @cornrootworm |
Vocal audio low, piano audio high I live in an apt and I have to turn it up and back down constantly Anything you can do? Comment from : @dwhitexrp |
