I am the budgeter of our home, leftovers make ALL the difference in this scenario We went from spending around $300 a week for both of us eating out daily to $125 in groceries for two of us eating all meals with leftovers! You will never convince me it’s cheaper to eat out…EVER We are both much healthier too which saves on health costs!

Much cheaper to eat out for us - it is just the two of us and we eat only one meal a day - early bird dinner Getting the early bird discount and combine that with coupons, card cash, restaurant apps it is a steal for us and much cheaper than buying all those groceries and spending time cooking at home, doing dishes, etc Plus we get a lot of variety there and don't need to worry about eating all the food we bought and stressing that it will go to waste

When you cook at home from basic, wholesome foods, you have control over the ingredients as well Lord knows what preservatives and chemicals have been added to the "fast foods" available for purchase these days Give me a home made loaf of bread and a dozen eggs over 7 fast food "egg muffins" any day of the week

We eat a lot of restaurant meals but most times we can get three to four dinners out of one One may be a smaller lunch or we add something like chips oi r a vegetable I figure that $3- $5 a meal isn't too bad and I don't spend hours in my kitchen, which I hate!

I have been cooking from scratch for about 9 months, and have saved a significant amount of money I was getting take aways previously, but mainly oven food from the grocery store I tend to cook a lage pot that lasts 4 to 5 days each
