The Bobcat sounds pretty cool, I found a Mongoose BMX at Target once that was pretty good It was a little over $100 too, I should've got it when I saw it It was there for only a couple weeks too Hopefully I can find it again, Target is nice for BMXs and their smaller Ripstik Razor casterboard skateboards too though

I would say the Polygon XTrada 6 becomes a mid level hardtail with just a little bit of upgrading Some good used parts make a huge difference

For a few more bucks the Xtrada7 has an air shock and thru axles, I wish it was in stock when my son’s birthday came round, the 6 has proven to be great though Got some new forks though, he was too light for the springs

Best Bike that no one is talking about is the Co-op DRT 12 Picked one up the other day for $799 on sale and it has a ton of features that make it an incredible value including front and rear Thru Axles Being so cheap with so many upgrade paths, I will be riding this bike for many years to come!

hol up walmart, in most markets, use a 3rd party assembler it's not better, to be fair, because we get paid per bike, and most mechs cut corners on the job but dont throw shade on walmart employeesbrbrto put a dropper on a kent, you have to shim a 272 to fitbrand the kent comes in a medium(small really) and a large(medium more like) i've had both in my shopbrbrthe ozark fork sucks name brand fork with no lock out is sus props on the acolyte drive train thobrbrBut how to you drop shade on walmart bikes, but dont mention the Axum Comp X? not to bash on the xtrada ive owned and loved the 7 but the phrase that irks me is " you cant get that from walmart" again axum comp x 1x agressive geo solid fork clutch and unlike any other sub 1k bike a factory dropper postbrbrheck, ii'll put the old axum dp over pretty much everything on this list, with its factory "Axe" drivetrain
