I use Resolve in addition to FCP Final cut has the speed, I just wish they would catch up with text-based editing and REAL audio tools That's really the reason people are migrating away It's been 14 years and we still have marginal audio tools

Hi, FCP people here, so i press control D and enter 200, it doesnt seem to shrink the clip chosen to 2sec, instead it only show the first 2 sec of the clip and cut the rest, what did I do wrong,

once again, FCP updates with new features that other NLEs have had for years If they really wanted to get competitive, they'd merge motion and FCP into a single app they also really need to add 3D tracking, which is another feature DR just has right out of the box

I’ve been editing since the mid 70’s I’ve been using Final Cut since Legacy FCP I have tried the others There is nothing that I’ve ever done from TV spots and shows to docs and industrial that I couldn’t do more quickly and efficiently in FCP

Every time Apple updates FCP, I go back and try doing a project using the new features Yet, not a few hours into that project, I go back to DaVinci realizing that FCP still is not as good Apple will need to up its game even more to lure me back For now, DaVinci is king 👑

I’ve a FCP user since it came out I did switch to Adobe but cancel cause I don’t like the subscription, went back to FCP and never look back I though Apple was gonna discontinue it after no upgrade that was worthy

FCP is easy and efficient I’d say that it is what the CUT page in DaVinci should be But in total DaVinci for me is better when it comes to the total package and everything you get when you buy the studio version I would have to compliment FCP with a lot of plug-ins to get it close to what DaVinci gives you DaVinci also flows better if you do all of the post processing or if you are several people working on the same project

I've been using FCPX for over a decade IMO it's been the most no-fuss software for editing It has everything you need for all aspects of video editing and the other programs seem so cumbersome
