I regret becoming a doctor!!! Sacrificed my life for nothing! Never got a residency and worth anything without a medical liscense working in healthcare not getting paid more than $25 an hr I got in 650k debt, have no kids, n lost my youth!! Nursing has a similar relationship issue between LPN/LVN and RN… the Registered nurse being higher I’m an LPN who is very happy that I didn’t go further I was very clear in what responsibility I was comfortable with and I have no regrets brbrSo many RNs have offered their unsolicited advice feeling that I should go on I have my reasons and I know that Registered Nursing is not for me I have less headaches, more control, because I have a State Board that determines my practice It states that our titles are not interchangeable, so, I don’t allow them to dump their tasks on me brbrSo, what I’m saying is be happy with whatever you are doing Plus, anyone has the right to change their career if they want to Schools did not close Comment from : @pagandeva2000

BE HAPPY BE A PA Residency is literally inhumane (made by a guy with an endless supply of cocaine), and PAs work 3 shifts a week in the ICU Residents work 6 a week The PAs literally make more than the attendings per hour of work bc attendings have to do billing, admin, and research, most of which is unpaid Don’t be stupid kids!!! I am so glad I came across this video I just graduated PA school I passed the PANCE I am a PA But I still cannot get out of my head that I originally wanted to be a doctor I took the MCAT twice I did so terribly that I never applied I was devastated I found out what a PA was and thought, “This is actually what I need to do” I kept having this feeling like I gave up on my true dream of being a doctor I felt defeated because for me it is not as simple at going to school because Pa school almost killed me I barely made it I barely passed the PANCE I love to work and I love to learn but school is excruciating with all the testing and my crippling test taking anxiety I felt like I was trapped and like I was unable to follow my dream But your words helped me realize that I need to enjoy my time now and just be happy with my husband and family and travel I never got to be truly happy and I really feel like this is my chance to be happy Thank you Comment from : @dxcoco8578

My primary healthcare provider is a PA and it was the greatest referral from my holistic dentist! I had high levels of mercury in my system and the MD never took the time to run the appropriate labs, just kept prescribing drugs that lead to major side effects and no positive results After continued care from my PA, my health took a turn for the better! I’m not sure why this video is getting so much hate I think most people don’t understand that PAs have the same role as MDs in most settings For example: general medicine, urgent care, pediatricians office The roles are to diagnose, prescribe, and care for the patients Also, people need to stop assuming that PAs “couldn’t do med school” If a person wants to choose PA school over med school, that doesn’t mean they aren’t competent enough to do med school Most the time they want more flexibility in their career with specialties without having to do an entire new residency I think the people criticizing this video don’t understand the medical field as much as they think Comment from : @michaelarainey5791
