Revolut is good however I am sad they removed the cashback and added this "RevPoint" system instead There are people who are not traveling much so this RevPoints is useless Maybe they implemented because according their statistic more people traveling often with Revolut than not traveling often Either way rip us who don't travel too much for that revpoints 😅

No idea if a question like this ever came up but I'll just ask So I live in Namibia I am teaching online and most of my students are abroad I pay an arm and a leg in fees when it comes to receiving money I'm looking for a solution that could help me on one had to save up some of the money for travelling, like an investment with some interest, but also allows me to use the money in my country in case I need it I've tried googling, but it doesn't seem a lot of Namibians have this dilemma! Hope someone has some advice 🙏🏻 thankd in advance!

Lol, you losted everything but the best; Nationwide They put their insurance up recently, but you get device, breakdown and travel The travel insurance can be tailored to longer trips by calling and the best bit is you can call a human and get whatever issue immediately fixed without needing a chat ir being put on hold Plus its not a bank, they are a building society Money's not rehypothicated

FYI you 'recoup' a cost, you don't 'recuperate' itbrbrGood video otherwise There are so many ways you can slice this analysis - top accounts for cashback, top accounts for travel insurance, best accounts for high earners (which tend to offer decent perks in order to attract said high earners), etc You could probably make half a dozen related videos!

Some downsides:brbr- Vivid: They have the worse customer support ever If you have problems you are on your own Same applies to Vivid Business They just ignore you basically Revolut and Wise have perfect support in comparison I would strongly advice against Vividbrbr- Curve: They sell your privacy information like everything you buy with their card to third party advertisers according to their privacy information So they sell your information and this is how they make money

Yonder is a better alternative i think It's simpler, the cash back is fantastic and it is a credit card unlike revolut Plus you have the added benefit that customer support sits in the UK not outsourced to some foreign location

If you live in Europe, Revolut works through a Lithuanian IBAN, which goes through SWIFT if you need to receive money in USD If we're talking about a low-cost fintech banking solution to Revolut, I think Wise is another solution to consider

My favorite money management app has to be Revolut I have the Metal plan, and I feel it's great value for money They've also removed the weekend exchange fees in my region, which is a big plus Another feature I really appreciate is the option to open accounts for those under 18 I use this for both my kids, and it's much more flexible than the accounts typically offered by traditional banks for kids Their under 18 app is also very good

Just so you know, Revolut are doing away with the weekend fees I believe they have already removed them in Sweden, Norway and the Baltics I would imagine they will roll this out to the UK soon too
