I recently viewed an impressive video that prompted me to reflect on my experience with a financial adviser A colleague referred me to this adviser, and during our discussion regarding investment strategies and financial management, I made the decision to begin investing with an initial amount of less than $100,000 Remarkably, within a span of just two months, my portfolio increased to $234,800 I opted to reinvest a substantial percentage of my profits, which further enhanced my investment journey For over one year, I have collaborated with this adviser, consistently generating profits Recently, I achieved a significant milestone by acquiring my second home at the beginning of summer Comment from : @BertramGilbert-d4z |
I agree that many people are considering NVDA as the "Stock of the year" However, I'm curious about which stocks could potentially become the next META in terms of growth over the next decade I've allocated $200k for investment, aiming to retire comfortably Comment from : @Stanleee-8 |

My portfolio for the past 30 years has always been self managed and I own 3 shares of Berkshire Hathaway Class A stock (BRK:A) which I bought in at about $17,000 during the mid 90s, I'm currently liquidating some of these positions to incoporate new Gen Stocks, but am I better off re-investing into Gold as it seems stocks are a little too unstable right now Comment from : @DesireeJames-q1z |
I remember you saying pltr was overpriced at 6 dollars Comment from : @Calisteve96 |

Investors are still buying, but nervously Under this scenario, markets will NEVER crash more than unless there is an exogenous shock to the markets (WW3 outbreak, terrorist attack, another Covid-like event) Comment from : @JJ-gk9ri |

I initially did the big ticket buy, 150k into SCHD, 75k TSLA, 25k VYM, 25K VUG, AMZN 25K Now I'm dca buying roughly 2k every week of whatever is on sale, and looking to add more tech positions to my portfolio I'm looking to hold long term 15 - 20 years, so hopefully my lump sum buy in doesn't bite me in the ass long term Comment from : @sarawilliam696 |
When everything is pushing ATH, it's time to start trimming some of the fat and increase dry powder I'm considering diversifying my portfolio of $200k to hedge against downturns but unsure of the best strategy to do so Comment from : @RobbStonee |
I'd love to invest in stocks after listening to a guy on a podcast talk about the importance of investing and how he made over $300k in few months of investing into stocks from $175k initial capital, somehow this video has helped shed light on some things but I'm confused about the current market volatility I'm new to this and I'm open to ideas Comment from : @Graceh-t8o |
Hey Paul I just don’t understand the chart u put up in this video over the years of investing $6000 a year into the market Could u make a more in depth video on that and how it works? The community would really appreciate it Thank u👍🏽 Comment from : @LORDCOOLER714 |
I was advised to diversify my portfolio among several assets such as stocks and bonds since this can protect my inherited portfolio of about $25m I’m used to just buying and holding assets which doesn’t seem applicable to the current rollercoaster market plus inflation is catching up with my portfolio I’m really worried about survival after retirement Comment from : @mikefallert1306 |
This helped me big time, thank you… 🙂 Comment from : @Daniel7evens |

Stocks for the win!! As a beginner investor, I used a few things to really help expand my knowledge of the stock market in a way that was pretty digestible for a new investor I still reference it fairly often to get a quick overview of a stock to understand it's surface-level fundamentals by using an advisor, and I can't recommend that method of learning enough! I use Susan Kay Mack she is super helpful to a lot of beginners out there, thanks for sharing Comment from : @MellisaAdam |
I’ve noticed the US election as well as Trump’s effect has a couple of stocks and assets doing quite well I’m considering between VOO, XLK, SCHD and VDY to get alongside my portfolio Comment from : @milepottsman2034 |

You are not accounting for inflation when you compare incomes of intel/cisco Do that and divide by the 20 odd years and you could see almost zero growth hence the stock price Comment from : @JinNani224 |
I’m still new to all this, but it seems like a great video I may watch it again to make sure I understand all your points Thanks for the information Comment from : @PreparedToWander |
Hello Paul, thanks for making this video and for providing factual data to support your points I have 200K to invest in right now, and I would like to invest in the S&P 500 and SCHD Should I invest half right now (50K S&P 500, 50K SCHD), and DCA the rest (100K)? Since nobody knows how high the market is going to get before the bubble bursts, today's price might be the new lows when the crash comes Or do you think it is best to just DCA all 200K and that there is no value investing half of the money right away? Please let me know what your opinion is I'm new to the investment world and the videos you make are very helpful Comment from : @samirr-n1q |

How can you, with the straight face, compare S&P 500 market capitalization with the GDP for a year? Index has set of most profitable publicly traded companies and does not include privately owned And over the time this proportion public vs private obviously changes If you want to compare GDP to index you probably need to find value added by each company Otherwise you are comparing not even apples and oranges Your chart is interesting but your read of it is absolutely wrong and misleading Comment from : @vladcrimea |
OK, Uncle Paul speaks some deep, next level truth here Well done sir Next question, lets' say i do NOT have a long time horizon?? What if I want to retire NEXT YEAR?? or in two years?? |
What if Dollar cost averaging would have been done only at cheap markets below PE 19? I think that would provide much superior returns than buying during overvaluation If market is overvalued half the time than half of your money will make below average returns Im not surprised that stocks made good return using DCA Stocks were cheap from 2003 up to 2019 So out of 24 years you would did DCA during somethig like 17 years of cheap stocks and four years overvalued Comment from : @PavolKosik-b3u |
How do you calculate what is overvalued by how much? Comment from : @canadiancoldtalks |

The problem with worrying about buying at all time highs is that the stock market has been making new all time highs for over 100 years brYes we have pullbacks and experience crashes, but the market will inevitably make new highs and continue trucking along Comment from : @santiagonegroni9032 |
Hey uncle Paul, what are your thoughts on this quote from Robert Kiyosaki “id never touch a stock, those are for peasants Real estate is the way to build wealth” brbrIs it better to focus on RE cash flow investing after getting a bit of retirement cushion in the S&P (Say $100K at age 27)? Paul I am at 557 since inception2010 It was negative and I dedicated my life to the stock market @022 I lost 20 to 30 in each or four accounts Best years were 41 in 2021 and 4625 this year! Reality is there were only 4 or 5 negative years and 2022 wiped away all previous gains Comment from : @scott-gy6fe |

Blindly DCAing into an overvalued market is the reason the market hasn’t corrected yet brbrAt some point, the institutional investors will laugh, take their profits and watch the blind DCAers panic and bail leaving them the room to get back in at a value Comment from : @MuscleWhisperer |
