Mere 'Putrr' yaani 'Tony Atlas' got a liking for you because you are a 'novice Guide' and get disvanded of '1 to 2 perjunctures' when they are there My 'Son wants' to 'upfold' on the table:- "African Blue Orange is a very serene one There are 4 to 7 colours of Oranges in Europe and 11 to 12 or 13 when including the 'African Blue Orange' total-all When any and any of 'these' are allowed to be grown in full tandems, they become 'Sweet' and 'loveable' and 'Perfummatic'" The 'African Sweet [Blue] Orange' is so 'sweet' that:- "Once my 'son' grows it in his 'Gardens', they will be the 'ladder' to give 1 or 2 peuarduances of 'Sweet Zarda Pulao' of 'Hyderabad' against '4 or 7' Offerings of it, with the 'belittled' Offer to pick the 'African Blue Orange' instead" Aisaa ek 'Hyderabadi Sweet Zarda' ka 'Video' mere goluu-moluu ladke ke 'Laptop' mein 'down-loaded' bhii padaa hai Comment from : @sudhabhatnagar5221 |

Grand Marnier as a substitute for Triple Sec in a sidecar is just a bit of brandy bliss Comment from : @ExileOnDaytonStreet |

Cointreau, Dry Dry Curacao, Grand Marnier, Dekuypers Triple Sec Stock all four, use all four Comment from : @lusario2650 |
i’m surprised you didn’t go into the origin of the term triple sec ! Comment from : @andrewvoros4037 |
My liquor store was out of dry curacao so i have been putting Cointreau in every cocktail that uses a triple sec or curacao, and i dont know if I can really taste the orange that much, it feels like the proof of the ethanol is having more of an effect than the orange flavor Comment from : @jessicalawson1417 |
Should the dutch curacao be linked to the oranges or that island Comment from : @riveness |
What brand are those shot glasses? Comment from : @Bluesman788 |
The fact there even is legal distinctions on anything like this always amused me idk why Comment from : @patrickmanasco5905 |

Two bottles? A Triple Sec and Grand Mariner Grand Marnier is excellent in cooking and baking, especially carrot cake and the cream cheese frosting Comment from : @MF-zj3zl |
When you say " you might have to balance it out if you use a Curaçao when a recipe calls for Triple Sec", how would you suggest to balance it out? I am a freaking Marg nut and love making all different types, but I think this video will help me dial in which 🟠 to use and when Comment from : @stephencrouch8712 |
Grand Marnier is my orange liqueur of choice Occasionally I like a single shot of Grand Marnier and take sip after sip Comment from : @MatoNupai |
I have an older bottle of Cointreau, and a newer one They are very different beasts The newer one is like you've described, except perhaps even simpler The older one is much closer to a curacao Since I discovered Pierre Ferrand, that's the only one I keep in my bar! Comment from : @johnpezaris6982 |
any opinions on Di Amore Quattro Orange? I've been using it in the Mai Tai recipe and I love it, but should i be using an actual curacao? Comment from : @datastorm17 |
Pale gold huebrbrPale goldbrbrHuebrbrbrYep, it looks like pee Comment from : @loggrad9842 |
Any bottle saying Curaçao liquor without being made in Curaçao should be forbidden imobrbrIt’s like selling Russian vodka and calling it American vodka…brbrFun fact, due to the soil here, the oranges actually taste different than shore based oranges Comment from : @antoombom9584 |
Yes!!!! Just what I was looking for! Will you do one on cherry liquors? Comment from : @ValCc |
I have Triple Sec - the actual brand - for cocktails (the Cosmopolitan) because I find it cheap terrible on its ownbrbrI ALWAYS have a bottle of Grand Marnier To sip on its own Absolutely deliciousbrbrI will use the Grand Marnier in a Cosmo if I'm out of Triple Sec It's sweetierbrbrI bought blue Curaçao once and never used it It'a still there Don't know what to do with it Comment from : @fcmhockeyvideos |
I keep a mini bottle of Grand Marnier as a cooking ingredient (especially for Grand Marnier shrimp) Comment from : @Brad-ic4bp |

Thanks for this vid I was exactly at this moment thinking if Pierre Fernand would be better for tiki drinks than Contreau And now I have the answer :) Comment from : @BacksidePL |
I did this same sort of a comparison on my own trying to educate myself It turns out that my favorite is Gran Gala I think it has a really strong, true orange flavor However, I use the Pierre Ferrand a lot I also have Cointreau and Grand Marnier for specific uses, but I don’t really love either of them In fact, the last bottle of Grand Marnier I bought was “corked” just like wine can be cork tainted That was disappointing On the blue curaçao question, why not just add some blue food coloring to a curaçao that you like? Comment from : @bobbarron1920 |
I'd love to try the Marie Brizard, but I don't buy ugly bottles for my bar Comment from : @mathieud4770 |
Good explanation Comment from : @jackimyers9364 |
DONT COMPLICATE BARTENDERS LIFE, YOU USE COINTREAU AND THE GRANDMARNIER SIMPLE, EASY Comment from : @cristobalriquelme7669 |
I just learned you're a fellow Chicagoan Cool I live in Streeterville brI recently discovered using a 1/4 oz each blend of Grand Marnier and Clémont Créole Shrubb for a Mai Tai and it's very good Comment from : @lrvogt1257 |

Wow, this drink was really helped to me, I was in doubt about Contreau Here in Brazil I prefer the Blue Curaçao from Marie Brizzard, looks better than others If you find, you shoud try Comment from : @fabiotadeupsantos9606 |
Most triple secs, not mentioned in the video, taste like chemicals to me Of the three here I know: I tend to stick to Cointreau Grand Marnier tastes good in other cocktails but they don't taste like those cocktails anymore I only mix it with bourbon in a New Fashion I like the taste of Pierre Ferrand but not so much as a mixer and my wife just dislikes it altogether so I don't buy it but I understand it's appeal to others Comment from : @lrvogt1257 |
Great video! I love Grand Marnier in my margaritas Comment from : @nolanpribnow7441 |
No, Lime not Comment from : @ml2770 |
This video has been SO helpful lol Comment from : @Cassy-ep1xx |
Brillant explanation and so interesting to get the story behind it allbrThanks Anders Comment from : @dinuhofer3585 |
Grand Marnier is delicious at $40/btl DeKuyper's triple sec is plain and distinctly unorangy at $10/btl But Fun Fact: you can simply add the orange zestof a fresh orange (as strips) into the bottle and turn a cheap triple sec into a bright, citrusy, highly flavored orange liqueur If that is not "complex" enough for you, add a few crushed cardomom pods and some vanilla Want even more, add some ginger The longer it sits the better it gets Comment from : @BSGSV |
I love Cointreau with a gini, it's a classic but it's so good Comment from : @Le_Corse_Belge |
Curaçao is made with the bitter enwikipediaorg/wiki/Laraha oranges Comment from : @Revener666 |
So bummed I cant get DeKuyper 03 Premium Orange Liqueur anymore, was very versatile and less than 20 bucks for 40 abv orange liqueur Comment from : @Opiadic |
For the future follow-up, because I'm sure there will be, I'm expecting Clement Creole Shrub and its insane brother Curaçaos, but a mix of fresh and aged rhum agricoles as the base, because wacky Comment from : @CyrusBluebird |
You need to have Clement Creole Shrubb (yes, shrubb with 2 b's It isn't drinking vinegar) because its incredible Basically a rhum agricole based curacao Also, Giffard makes a decent blue curacao FYI Comment from : @TGunn1986 |
Wow, I really enjoy your content, and it’s obvious you know your stuff, but this video really demonstrates that! Thanks Comment from : @adbraham |
i personally bhighly recommend/b just getting a bottle of Grand Marnier for your bar, regardless of whatever other triplesec/curaçao you have, simply because a glass of Grand Marnier on the rocks is pure, unabashed bliss Comment from : @joeschianodicola1810 |
I am very partial to using a Schubb Orange instead of tripple sec / Curacau The one from Rhum JM is fantastic Comment from : @DClaville |
My gateway to orange liqueurs was Grand Marnier, which I still make desserts with But I’ll try the others one by one before I choose my favorite Appreciate the usage tips Comment from : @opwave79 |
Gold Fashioned Essentially an old fashioned with Grand Mariner as the sugar component Delicious Try it smoked Comment from : @2giantmonsters |
I was advised once that any cocktail that calls for triple sec should use Cointreau, as it is a vastly superior product Anybody hear similar or would advise against? Comment from : @soundwave1021 |
Gran Gala is Canadian Describes itself as "triple orange made with Italian vsop brandy" (eg, curacao) 40, very dark, good Grand Marnier substitute Comment from : @manxology |
I’m a big fan of Bauchant 40 Good stuff Comment from : @BeQuietBeProfessional |
I love your videos You're my "go too" when making cocktails I tried Pierre Ferrand Dry Curaco I really liked it but noticed mildew on the tin cap when I used it again after a few weeks I replaced with one of my trusty wine caps I reached out to the company and was told to take it back to the store which I never did Have you experienced this? Comment from : @Joan-qh8lw |
I would say Aperol is also a light orange liquer Comment from : @robson2939 |
Great video, but you neglected to mention the applications of Grand Marnier! :o Comment from : @Skizze37 |
Cointreau can make a middle brow Margarita really pop Comment from : @mondoenterprises6710 |

Thanks Comment from : @jcoats150 |
This is immensly helpful watching for someone getting into cocktails and building a home bar! I'll admit, I was slightly confused when I was looking at the Pierre Ferrand Dry Curacao online, the top of the label says triple sec now so I wonder if they have changed it Comment from : @MJRacine1992 |
Grand Marnier is great on fresh Strawberries Comment from : @robertadams5479 |

But Anders! You wouldn't recommend Grand Marnier? That surprised me Comment from : @SAK59 |
Excellent video as always! I love Grand Mariner on its own I will be picking up the Pierre Comment from : @JermaineAuNatural |
I actually really like Patron's Citronge orange liqueur I can't say it's quite as good as Cointreau or Grand Marnier, but for half the price it is pretty darn good Comment from : @mavdog5 |
I have a bartender buddy who absolutely loves Grand Marnier and it’s definitely a drink that’s gotta grow on me Love your videos though and very happy to see you discussing orange Liqueurs Comment from : @bladedgekiller |
The Grand Marnier is the worst one imho, put a 70's Grand Marnier next to a modern one and you'll never drink it again, it smells artificial and tastes horrible ;) Comment from : @mrartist4689 |
This is the cocktail video I've been searching for for years, thank you! - Now to actually find a store around me that stocks anything aside from blue curaçao and occasionally Grand Marnier which frankly isn't my favorite TT^TT Comment from : @Blinnebots |
I had a customer in college that drank two giant bottles of contrue or grandma everyday He looked like he drank two bottles a day too Comment from : @eprofessio |
How can you do a review of Curacao - and not have Curacao involved? There is only one true Curacao, produced by Senor on the island that gave it the name! Comment from : @TonyHiggins |
Sorry - but wrong! Triple sec is a abbreviation of triple sec curaçao! While orange curaçao is another variety Comment from : @Dominikmj |
Victor Lazio orders Cointreau in Casablanca, and when he orders champagne cocktails for himself and Ilse, it's good to remember that the traditional recipe uses Cointreau, too Comment from : @fabrisseterbrugghe8567 |

So no Blue Hawaiis? Is there such a thing as an Orange Hawaii? Comment from : @springinfialta106 |
Thank you for the video Comment from : @tomjabo9872 |
Giffard makes the best blue curaçao Comment from : @nowahklrk |
I once worked a wedding and a specialty drink called for blue curacao We checked our storage room but didn't have any Our head bartender went to our chef and asked if he had blue food coloring He did and he added some drops in a bottle of triple sec Problem solved Comment from : @tomcarl8021 |
A “friend” sent me this link Comment from : @KathyLovesLife |
My partner loved her Aperol when in Italy but you didn't mention it Comment from : @jimmcintosh9045 |
The Cointreau and Grand Marnier are also noticeably more expensive I was really shocked by how good the Pierre Ferrand Dry Curacao was first time I had it, given it was $10 cheaper, but I knew the brand, so had education enough to know I should try it Zero regerts Also, we like our margaritas to be lime-forward and rather sour in our house, so still use Cointreau in them But now you got me second guessing myself Comment from : @briannicholsgriggs7115 |
Creamsicalyourr my hero I use terminoligy like this in my regular day 2 day Comment from : @mattrobertson9159 |
