It’s crazy how at 50 you don’t even come close to getting 50 of the 100 compLook how much it jumps from 90 to 100 only a 10 difference but over $1,500 in pay… and man they make you fight for that last 10… it’s sad My battle buddy went through everything I went through and actually did one more tour than me (I ETS) and he only gets 70 while I was blessed to get 100brWe are train to be tough and to just suck it up… but there are so many vets that are not getting the comp or help they need and deserve😢brI’m thinking about starting my own non profit for US Veterans with PTSD… A organization (fund raiser, non profit) Run by a Disabled war veteran… that will actually the funds I raise to actually help our veterans I’mbrStill trying to come up with a name for this non profit… for example (HelpUSHelpVets) or (TheInHouse Foundation) if anyone has any suggestions… please share… I’m currently saving up the $4k I need to build the website… This is gonna be a Foundation run by us (actual veterans) and even this there are so many areas that we need help on… My foundation is strictly focusing on Veterans with PTSD If anyone has and suggestions… please please help me… IM SICK OF ALL THESE ORGANIZATIONS “Raising money for US” but yet me and several of my own Army buddies were not able to get any help… They have no problem taking donations for “US 🤔” but it’s so hard to actually get help from these organizations that supposedly raise all this money to help us… My Organization will be run by us Vets and the funds I raise will actually go to us Vets

I was told that I have 29 quarters at the social security And I need 40, but I've been getting paidby the V A disability since 2007 and they told me that I didn't qualify so right now I just put in an application for social security So if you could give me some help I surely appreciate it because I looked on the little pamphlet Social security they say that the date that I became disabled So that would've made me 38But I guess they're using my age right now for the quartersAnd they're shorting me because, at 38 I would only need it 20 hours, which i have 29 and i am fully qualifiedLet me know what I can doBecause my appointments coming up in NovemberThank you very much

I am a retired VA employee, and I can assure everyone the VA disability system is as crooked as a dog hind leg Being a retired VSR with the VA I highly recommend everyone who intends on filing a disability claim with the VA to hire a VA disability attorney DO NOT ATTEMPT to contact the VA first Hire the attorney and let them do all your talking for you The VA will hold anything you say to them against you COUNT ON IT!

If you qualify for social security disability i only received my 100 rating from VA because i handed the judge for social security a giant stack of medical documentation that was above the judges head with him sitting down and having a very knowledgeable Social Security Lawyer is a plus I got denied the first time by Both Government Agencies My rating is 90 and being unemployable i get 10 from VA Only because Social Security had me listed as unemployable Otherwise i would be only 90

I'm a 76 year old Vietnam veteran and just got turned down for the 5th time I'm at 70 disability I've been exposed to agent Orange and I have PTSD I talked to an independent contractor at sight R and he told me that the veterans there were coaching them on what to say to get 100 percent disability and I didn't even have a weapon for the last 8 months of my tour I joined the army and I volunteered to go to Vietnam before my company I was in Vietnam from January 68 to April 69 PTSD ruined every aspect of my life I think I deserve 100 percent disability🤬 My MOS was 45J20 aircraft armament repair man so i was on the airfield and hanger area most of the time

Gov uses deflated CPI which is manipulated to the low side to calculate increase for SS, Military, Gov employees pay They use July, Aug and Sept , should use entire year so they don't fudge the numbers We should have received around 9

Here is the issue You have a veteran such as my self 100 P&T 3 dependents ( wife 2 kids) Just with my VA ($420242) I make to much for food stamps or any local help for power, utilities, ETC brbrEven if I was single at the 100 rate I would still make too much for federal assistance So for those at the TDIU rate and can’t physically work they are screwed for any short of help It honestly sucks for those who can’t work due to their injuries but are limited on their income

I’m so grateful for the increased amount There are some retirees don’t get any cost of living increases on their retired pension I’m a retired JROTC instructor, my retired pension has not seemed an increase since I’ve been retired So, let’s be thankful for things that are provided to us whether they are small or large because there are others who are less fortunate than us God is a very good to us all!❤😂🎉
