In 2025 I have 4 cars and the average age is 2007 with 120k miles No car payment since 2002 and no mortgage payment since 2022

HELP! I did stupid! I bought too much car about 4 months ago and looked at getting rid of it, I have to pay £4,300 to clear the negative equity! Now I can change it for another car and save £130 a month but I’m still in debt Or should I save the difference and just pay it off and get a run around The way I see it, £4,300 / 12 months gives me the car for a year Or changing it to the other car which is more affordable to run and I save on the car difference, it’s still relatively new but I would get about 14 months out of the new car instead of paying £4,300 Thoughts?

Ummm I gave $2500 for my DD and $1800 for my 1 ton truck for hobby farming and side hustles and make 60k a year brbrI think it’s funny when people say they need a 15k car so it’s reliable brbrShoot, I haven’t found myself broke down in over 7 years (230k mile $1100 car let me down) and I don’t pay more than $3000 on a Daily Driver with under 100k miles or truck with under 150k miles I’ll come pick you guys up when your 10k ride leaves you stranded because you ignored the noise or put a sticker over that check engine lightbrbrMaintenance and condition is way more important than what is costs

My first car I bought was back in 2004, a Honda Accord To-date it’s got 390k miles and two years ago I retired it and is now my in-town “local runs” car I commute 125 miles per day (round trip) to and from work I no longer can rely on that 2004 car and about 2 years ago I bought a 2017 Honda Accord as my new commuter car and hope to drive it until I retire in about 10 years Put down $25k on it with a two year payment planfew more payments and I’ll be done before the end of this year Just keep driving until the car can’t drive no more, reliably

I live in South Florida, and the problem here is that the prices of used cars are so expensive you’d be better off buying a new car and try to get a manufacture rebate and low APR Reason is, inventory is low for used cars and dealers try to mark them up for 5-6k over what they pay on a trade in In other words, cars that should be 12-14k used are now16-18kand I’m talking about midsize cars, civic, corolla, mazda3etc your better off buying new for 20k, especially if your the type of person that keeps cars for a while and pays them off
