little bit late to the party but i picked up that skar 12 inch box and the sdr 12 recently, and im running a different amp i got a good deal on from facebook marketplace but its still a 500w 1 ohm unit been really happy with it so far, only spent about 250 total for it

Being a Budget Basshead for 25 years your videos are great I do however recommend you test Skar EVL with appropriate power 1000 watts Rms per sub both in vehicle and controlled environment they have $500 (single) and $700(dual subs) complete Bass packagesno disrespect to J price/D4sound or even NVX they have great gear but being a recent owner of 2 skar evl 10s and 2000 watts the output is absolutely insane even @ half volume far too much for a 47 year old DadlolbrLooking forward to more videos

i have two Dayton audio classic 15s ($125 each) on a jensen 4channel 500rms amp ($119)AND I'm very impressed with the bassaccording to winisd they have a sensitive rating of 83db at 30hz in the sealed encloser in have (225cubicftpersub)they sound just as good as my friend that has one American bass 15 (1500rms)

I just recently built a 3k build for $ 500 2-12in 1200w sound qubed 230$ 3k amp 159$ #2awg welding cable 100$ need to build a box, Mids, amp,speaker wire ,deck ,sec alt still though brbrSo it will probably be at least another 500$ to complete $1000-1200$ total hard to stay under this price for 3kwatt that's for sure 👍👌✌️💯🔊🎶

I have had several NVX 104V2 They do NOT handle 350RMS 200rms at best, and that's mounted inverted for maximum cooling Running a pair of these at 230 Watts RMS per speaker, in a sealed box, resulted in so much heat buildup that the glue holding the spider to the basket melted and failed This resulted in a fire Luckily it was a crappy old box I ripped the burning box out of my trunk and threw it in the pool But since the speakers are so affordable, I tried again and installed them in a ported box Within 15 minutes I could smell them burning And the spiders were separated from the basket Purchased the third set and mounted them inverted in the same ported box Allowing for easy inspection during operation and maximum cooling So far, the glue is holding, but the aluminum voice coil former has deformed 5 minutes at 230 RMS results in the deforming voice coil former making contact with the magnet resulting in a great deal of noise, if you turn down the volume and wait 2 minutes after the speaker cools, the noise dissipates Thank goodness these speakers are such a great deal If you buy two you can pick them both up for $8999 I keep melting these speakers down on extremely low power, and just ordering two more The return process isn't even worth it as shipping cost more than speakers do Like I said, 200 W RMS at best

I didn’t do ab budget buy I started off with a pair of JL Audio 35 C2 for an upgrade on an 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 4door I just order the JL Audio 6x9 C2 690TX 2 pair for the front and rear door So I just decide to just build an JL Audio Brand The box I got is an Q-Bomb 2 12” underneath the rear seat I wanted Sundown but instead I am sticking with JL 12W1V3-4 paired up with JL Audio XD600/1v2: so tell me did I do good or is there something I could done that’s better ?

Sundown E series subs are an incredible bang (bump?) for your buck They'll handle nearly twice their rated rms power and sound great on most kinds of music brThere are lots of options available for low buck mono amps Buying used from a friend is also a great way to say some money

I agree with this unless you can build a custom box that is fairly good takes a lot of cost off of these builds and you may gain some performance but if u dont have tools and experience dont go and try ro build a box for a vxf 15 its just gonna fall apart lol no Matt how much you prep u gotta have some experience tho preparing and having the right tools knowing how to cut the right way you will probably get good results but at the same time if you have more experience you will probably get better results tackle a 8 or 10in box first to see how it goes use some tools like this guy shows in his vids and you'll get experience and better understanding for next time I wish my first box on my own was an 8 I tried to tackle a box from CAF and it was a dual 10 tuned to 32hz little over 2 cubes I think but it didn't come out good at all I've since gotten much much better but those first like 5 were awful no Matter how much I prepared watched yt it takes some time just gotta be patient it will all pay off when u start to build absolutely ridiculous boxes for 10s that hid the 20s and the 40s

I saw they have some bass packages for 3-500 dollars as well I know in the 90s they had good stuff, but nowadays, nobody talks about them anymore
