For 200 you could get a skar EVL and that has a frequency response of 22hz, 2spiders for better cone control, smashes 28hz in a 27 cubic ft box and is 1200rms so it can handle so much more power, also Dayton audio ultimax 2 is 200 and it’s one of the best subs ever for lows and overall sound quality plus it’s 800 rms 😂 Comment from : @NathanHager-o6j

I am appalled by the price of that W0, and all JL Audio products, and I'm a JL guy from way back in the day! The 12W0 is a $99 woofer if there ever was one, a it would struggle to compete with other brands at that! Back in the gap, and for YEARS, a 12W0 was like $99, a 12W1 was $129, a 12W4 was $169, a 12W3v1 or v2 was $199, and the flagship 12W6D6 was $299 They were the best sounding subs you could get for years as well Now JL Audio is basically a flex Sure, they've come a long way with the product line but they need to get back in touch with the market and relearn what "entry level" means to the consumer Comment from : @magnumcipher4971

ive had all of them besides sundown alpine type r, type s, kicker comp r, comp c, comp vr, jl w0, w1, w3,w6, w7, rockford p1, p2, p3 and many more when i was in the game let me tell you the box is the most important part of the build! put a cea rated amp to it with proper adjustment and you will love it! kicker makes amazing set up kits, one of my favorite was dual cvr 12 in their ported box with kicker amp and it was amazing amp matters and for me rockford fosgate power series was the best amp ive owned! if youre looking for budget amp with great power check out Hifonics theyre great and true and tested! You can get that JL in a JL Audio tuned box for $29900 and it sounds spectacular! I've had 2 of them with a slash 500/1 and a 1 of them with a RF punch 500/1 and both sound great I think the JL Audio is a best bet with the factory box I have a 10" and now they're in 2 cars and both have more bass than I can handle (I like to hear the music) so I go JL and you should too you won't be disappointed Comment from : @JPFarris24

I had 3 jl wo-v3's in a 525cu ft ported box(port was 10w x 4h x 165 deep) below center woofer in a 06 nissan maxima hooked to an Orion 225 HCCA and it was pretty loud for that little amp I also used the sub channel of my XTANT X603 on them too and both amps sounded about equal The Orion seemed to have a little more punch to it though Box parameters were given to me by Carlos Chavez at JL Audio tech support Comment from : @user-hf4eh2ts3q

I have the kicker key 5001 and the 12” CompR ported enclosure Could I get the 12” JL basswedge for that amp? My Q5 is picky with Amps How different would the basswedge sound?
