I don't always agree with Consumer Reports ratings Sometimes they might secretly use their opinion, or accept bribes from manufacturers to unfairly manipulate their reports (that we have to pay to subscribe to) that members read I think CR might be doing some shady buisiness practices behind closed doors, and sweep it under the rug before we find out Always perform a more comprehensive research from other ratings and information sources, while taking Consumer Reports ratings into consideration

I've got a Speed Queen from a few years backabout 2017 It works well with cloths, but large items like sheets end up wrapped around the agitator and sometimes ruined This is a big problem to me, as I find myself having to monitor the wash, so it doesn't eat my sheets I cannot believe this was not a known issue when they tested the machine design and I hope they have corrected it

Sorry, but I disagree The backlash towards Speed Queen/Alliance Laundry Systems wasn't because of the TR-series per se, but because of their RESPONSE towards ANY kind of criticism whatsoever

Everyone wants to complain about the government regulations on washers Last year I bought an cheap Whirlpool for $448 It cleans really well You just have to learn how to use the new washers First and most important -- DO NOT use the "Normal" cycle on any brand of machine You can't increase the water levels on that cycle But you can on ALL the other cycles If you're lazy just wash everything on the Bulky/Sheets cycle it fills up all the way no matter how the controls are set

Na, CR was right lol Not a CR fan, but front loaders absolutely clean better, and that’s just an objective scientifically proven fact As far as brands go, there are a few good ones and several bad ones, but LG is the one which consistently rates highest among actual consumers, and for good reason

Bought my washer last year Totally hate it Worst washer I've ever bought Never works right I had a 50 year old wringer washer that was better than this I am so disappointed I thought buying American was a better choice I guess the Chinese made junk is better Plus it was the most expensive

My TR7 sucked!!!! My clothes never spun down enough for my Speed Queen gas dryer to get them dry in under 15 hoursmy clothes never felt or smelled clean either The TR7 was a big fail I ended up replacing my TR7 with a front load Electrolux Sorrybut Speed Queen failed the consumer on this one

I have a SQ TR7 for 5 months now and will replace it as it can't wash in stains Even simple stains such as chocolate or milk and doesn't matter what detergent you use it will not clean it

Dude you’re full of crap This machine is junk If you want a $140000 High Efficiency swimming pool for your clothes to hang out on vacation this is the machine for you! The agitator is attached to the tub and it’s fake The tub turns with the fake agitator attached and it just sloshes everything around wasting time and energy If you like dirty clothes go for it!! All the chemicals in the world will not help this swimming pool

I'm going to be honest here just like another person that posted 2 years ago at and consumer reports is 100 correct as well Speed Queen machines do not clean well at all, especially the TR7 I personally own the TR7 washer and dryer their flagship model and that is a total joke I've had it for 2 years and it still has 5 years of warranty We're getting ready to pull that s*** show out and go back to LG because these machines cannot clean for the life of them Even when you use the top of the line laundry detergent, they cannot get the simplest stain out Even when you put it on heavy duty max solid It cannot clean a stain

In 2018 i bought the tr7(TR7000WN)br The washer didnt get anything clean The matching dryer (gas) died after a few days I sent both back The tc5 is supposed to be commercial and uses the agitator for cleaningnot just to move water around Haven't used the tc5 but it seems to be the one people would wantbrIf anything has changed since 2018 with TR7000WN id surely like to know That experience put a extremely bad tatste in my mouth

The government isn’t to blame They went back to making the classic which was there original You can’t blame consumer reports because the stains didn’t come out Everything is done identical They even called queen and they claimed it was because they weren’t washed correctly So consumer reports washed them the way they said It did come cleaner but still failed the test I believe it was the only machine that did fail Facts are facts I’ve seen other appliance stores repeat the test with the same results

Maybe by making the washer action much more aggressive in the TR SERIES Speed Queen it will most likely clean even better Hopefully Speed Queen will make this washing action much more vigorous and greatly improve it

The 2018 machines were plain awful I get they were put under restrictions but i could name a thousand machines that cleaned better 2019 they went back to their old driveline and it got much better from there in 2018 they had actually turned off the option to review the machines on their website due to how many people were giving them bad reviews

My TR3 top loader tub was defective The two replacement tubs sent to me by Alliance Laundry Systems were also defective Why? The sharp edge at the bottom of the stainless steel cylinder eats fabric!brbrIn this 60 second video - youtube/4YGSXpTUpuQ - you can see how easy it is for that sharp edge to destroy fabric in seconds and also read a brief summary of my contact with Customer Service They would not acknowledge or repair the defect and I had to resort to self help to fix itbrbrCheck the tub before you buy or sell a Speed Queen top loader!

Consumer's Reports can't always be 100 right!Choosing the right detergents and the proper cycles and load size and using the Auto-Fill feature will definetly give you the best results with this type of washing machine Stains should always be pre-treated before laundering!
