Very informative However I do have something to point out: Legit, to learn, as in for something to be legible, from lex which means writing and law Furthermore, Discit, either to say, as in to discuss, and to learn from it

@3467AAA
My question is about the u sound You seem to have two pronunciations for it, one of them seems to be anglicised as you do it in studet (as in stud or stuff in English); for the rest you do what i expected it to sound like (a long u as in loop in English) I searched online and Latin only has 5 vowel sounds as in Spanish, and as in Spanish there are diphthongs but I’m only referring to the basic and single vowels sounds Hope to hear your feedback for itbrBy the way, thank you for the videos, always wanted to learn Latin but always seemed out of reach financially, however, technology and people like you make that possible, so thank you 🙏

@alishakir2197
I have a question, recently I have picked up Latin, I have bought a few books like Getting Started with Latin (I recommend this book) and Latin for Dummies (I DO NOT recommend this book)! Now to be honest I still watch this sieries and read the first book (The first book mentioned) and I am learning it well! I just want to know, is this Latin the Classical one or Ecclassical one?
Comment from : @alishakir2197

@LeBerryzz
I love latin because unlike French that I’m used to, there’s no hidden letters that you have no idea to pronounce

@LordApep
Someone probably wrote it but: Yes C in classical latin is allways pronunced K The exception is Ecclesiastical Latin(also church/vatican latin), as spoken by the Pope, uses Italianate Latin pronunciation C is pronounced k: cantus (kahn-toos) cc before e, i, y, ae, oe is pronounced tch: ecce (eht-cheh)

Correct my if Im wrong, but Discipula should be readed as "C" not "K" because when it is in front of: i,e,ae "C" is "K" is only when it is in front of letter "A,O,U"

@Ehyeh_Asher_Ehyeh
The beginning of the first words is often cut off For instance sometimes for Ego you say it with the E other times it is being said as just Go It makes it a little confusing as you wonder if sometimes it should be said in a different way

@vasundarakrishnan4093
I just felt like learning latin in a bit of an impulse and watched this lesson I cannot believe how much I enjoyed it It is such a simple yet elegant language I think the fact that this lesson makes someone with almost no prior exposure to the language, enthusiastic and embraced by the language, shows how great this introductory lesson is Most introductory lessons are amazingly boring and often discourage learners by making it seem like a chore brbrI am already in love with this one I will definitely finish the rest I just love how I is refered by Ego in latin, it is pretty poetic So excited to see through the rest
Comment from : @vasundarakrishnan4093
