 I’ve been paying $20/month for years I take my dog to the vet when I’m worried about anything, I don’t have to delay his care because I’m scared of the bill In 4 years I’ve spent more on insurance than I would have paid out of pocket but I also would have sought care significantly less, risking the dog’s health and stressing out no thanks, I’ll pay the insurance

 I worked at vets for years, emergency vets too People don't realize the equipment used, the test run, the procedures done are equivalent in cost to those in human medicine If you have a "cheap" vet, they are likely using old equipment, paying employees poorly, or cutting corners

 One thing for sure is that the Veterinary charges are way over priced and need more pricing regulation For same medication some vet charges more than doubled than others It's Ridiculous
