The benefits system, for a good few years now,has been a major cause of homelessness in the UK, people claiming benefits have been penalised for any unused bedrooms in their home, including council housing, it's £15 per week per bedroom, a couple in a 3 bedroom house it's £30 per week deducted from your benefits, £120 per month, and there aren't very many two bedroom houses provided by the council, so many get into financial trouble, and private renting is out of reach because you need at least £1000 deposit to rent the most basic house, I'm not being political ,I know people who are going through this , it must be so hard coping day to day

looking at the numbers on internet for gold reserves; if add China, Russia, and Germany (US now considering sanctions for Germany too) it hits about 8K tons; about same as US claimed reserves If add France about 10K tons Some claim China even exceeds US now; funny IMF claim is 28K tons, sure that has heavy leverage to suppress price Point is: the rise of Asia, sanctions of US, and US dollar used as weapon may eventually give rise to gold backed cryptocurrency

The fed has a lien on the gold reserves which sit as collateral to the loans in which the US government gets from the fed via printed reserve notes If America defaults on these loan repayments via fed income tax etc, the fed will seize the gold which has already occurred I think since US is clearly insolvent! This is why nobody can audit the fed/gold reserve as it’s not our money anymore!
