Interesting how similar heating silver before rolling is to heating (homogenizing) aluminum at the smelter I work at After aluminum destined for extruding is cast into logs it’s moved into a furnace and homogenized Heating aligns the structure, technical term is evening out chemical homogeneities present in caste structures Difference is aluminum is cooled very slowly in stages after homogenizing I wonder if cooling down silver slowly instead of dumping into cold water bath may help Amazing what your doing with the silver I will be putting an order in for some of your coins❤❤

Give some thought to the vibrating polishers just like what gun ammunition reloaders use for their brass it just it has media in this tub and it vibrates, and you won’t lose any material from sanding and it will polish and take care of all your sharp edges
