So if anyone here is interested in checking one of these out that has a tiny bit of grading knowledge let me knowbr I picked one up the other day off an old guy that found it in a ditch when he was a kid and not only is it in awesome condition I believe I just found doubling on the O and L's of dollar on the reversebr I'm not trying to sell it yet cause I do plan on sending it to be graded but I would guess it to be about ms64 or I would say it's as good or better than the 4800$br Really I'm just posting this out of curiosity sake and to see if anyone agrees or disagrees with my opinionbr I might go slap it on Reddit but those guys there can be really rude and mean about what you post Comment from : @kwking11 |

I am in Australia My uncle passed away in the states I now have his 1878 Dollar Can I ask you all is it normal to have the coin reverse 180 degrees? Effectively upside down when placed between the index finger and thumb and spun left to right When I do so it's exactly 180 degrees leaving the reverse eagle completely upside down Comment from : @tg3902 |

i wish i could share what i found i googled coin shops near me and i went to the 1 it showed me it was a jewelry store i walk in looking around didnt see any coins the owner asked me what i was looking for i told him google said you had coins he replied no i dont sell coins but i do have a couple i was going to melt down are you interested i said sure i got 3 1878 morgan dollars in mint condition 2 no mint marks and 1 s mint mark all 3 i think are vams i got them for $6300 melt value i think i scored big time 1 way or the other Comment from : @GopherBill1378 |

I know this is off topic, but I can't get an answer from anyone I know die chips aren't usually worth a whole lot, but I have a 2019 P Jefferson nickel (MS condition from a bank roll) that has what I believe to be a die chip that left what looks like flames coming out of the side of Monticello It even looks like whisps of smoke coming off the top of the flame Would having something interesting like that make it worth a little more?
