Have you read Yo No Soy Tu Perfecta Hija Mexicana by Ericka Sanchez? I think it is a translation from English, but it’s written by a daughter of Mexican immigrants who grew up in Chicago The story touches on some pretty difficult subjects but it’s an easy YA read and you might like it!
