The only problem with these bikes for beginners on a budget, you cannot get replacement parts from Walmart They have no concept of that other than swapping the entire bike IF the part is covered under warranty If you broke it, it's yours If you have modified the bike, it's yours So you would have to remove any modifications and return it to the store in stock condition You can't bring in the "broken" part and swap it from a bike in stock Even though Ozark Trail is "Walmart's Brand" just like Visio TV's, they have no concept of replacement parts and tell you that you have to source them through a "bike shop" or "third party vendor" At least with other brands like Schwinn, you can call an 800 # and the will send you the replacement part Just something to consider Comment from : @hi-fi-guru |

He said "paradigm" I know he graduated Comment from : @JulioMo |

And the best thing about it is the "OZARK TRAIL" printed on it in big, bold letters, ensuring that no one will steal it Comment from : @ReligiousZombie |
They are good bicycles but the bad thing is that they have a small pedal disc and would not move quickly Comment from : @adrieljosafathvazquezrodri9327 |
I bought this bike for my gf that hasn’t rode in 15 years Didn’t want to drop a grand not knowing how much she would take it up with me I rode it myself and rode with her and it’s highly comparable to my trek marlin 6 first thing I noticed was as the breaks could use an upgrade and the shifting was slightly clunkier but for a Walmart bike it exceeded expectations I got an affordable bike that still feels like I didn’t cheap out on her Comment from : @G1234-l7v |
Do these have tubeless tires? Comment from : @AIUnleashed-b7t |
Rear rack, fenders Perfect commuter for Boston winters! Comment from : @HullioGQ |
I just picked one of these up Mine has a microshift Advent trigger and microshift acolyte deraileur with clutch a d a narrow wide chain ring!!! The frame has additional guide loops for cable rear brake cable routing I will use them since I'm going to upgrade to hydraulic brakes immediately and they come pre filled Absolutely amazing! They definitely keep improving this bike Only the brakes are bad Really bad Otherwise Buy! Comment from : @bboennemann |
This vs Schwinn Axum… Which do I get!?! Torn between them Comment from : @zachkraeuter4820 |

I saw this bike on clearance yesterday I should have bought it Going back today to see if it’s still there It was crazy cheap but the rear derailleur wasn’t working Probably just a cable problem Comment from : @Tim9460-o9t |

I work the Bike/and Lawn&Garden areas at Walmart Our store has some Vibes, But I wish afford a Ridge someday Never Seen one in Person yest Our bike builder sucks, so im always having to do the Fine Tuning Not Complaining! I Love it!! Comment from : @brianb6969 |

How many miles have you put on the bike? Would be curious about a long term review and if wrapping, taping up certain spots on the frame would be smart? Comment from : @Venom-kq5xz |
I hope ozark will make full suspension bike soon Comment from : @phd8296 |
I just saw ozark trail branded aluminum pedals Only $14 bucks Comment from : @jamesd9955 |
friend picked one of these up used for 50 bucks and it has treated him well, daily ridden on trails replacement parts are MOSTLY standard and you really need to have it checked by a bike mechanic prior to riding trails (Walmart pays its standard employees to assemble bikes, in most cases) but it really is what everyone says bri bought a specialized Fuse a couple of years ago and have loved it but it was 1000 bucks and god knows most people cant afford that just to see if they like a hobby i have an inkling thought someone important criticized the company for selling mountain bikes from their stores that cant ride all those public trails they have been building, someone obviously important it is what the big box stores are good at though, undercutting traditional supply chains with economies of scale brbrthat being said, the only color they make is grey, for that it gets 2 out of 10 tacos Comment from : @Alitlittlehedgehog |
What do you think of the revision 2 of this bike? It has a clutched deralier Comment from : @metakheadfromthe89s |

I wonder how this bike compares to the GT aggressor Pro which at this moment is $50 cheaper? Comment from : @Galamoth66 |
Are mountain bike back tires supposed to be that close to frame? Its almost touching Comment from : @merlinmage6012 |
Great video review I'm only 5'5 so the OT Vibe was the right choice for me pretty happy with it after a few short rides at Greer Ranch but an upgrade to metal pedals are a MUST Comment from : @GaryInSoCal |
If you like this bike Ozark Trail just came out with a Gravel bike and it’s amazing Comment from : @Tightt88 |
can you add Ebike Conversion Kit to have pedal assist? Comment from : @mircosusan |
Just got one (275) for my kid My biggest complaint was no quick release wheels I see yours has them, I wonder if it's something they stopped doing? I'll check a couple other Walmarts Edit: Looks like the 29ers have them, not on the 275 Comment from : @JA-gx4hb |
if you get one either tune it yourself or have a real bike shop do it, walmart workers are not that smart Comment from : @viperdemonz-jenkins |
What should a newer rider use to lubricate the chain, lots of conflicting information Comment from : @FloridaNative59 |
I like everything, but the kind of plain, gray paint Screams budget Comment from : @pentiuman |
Pretty goodbrIt's hard to get a decent parts combination at this low price point As long as it has stainless steel spokes with brass nipples and a removable narrow wide chainringbrbrA note to all bike manufacturers stainless steel spokes with brass nipples should be mandatory at any price point to stop corrosion and allow for upgrades without wheel rebuilding being neededbrPeople don't mind spending a little bit extra if they don't have to get the wheels rebuilt which is extremely expensive and is something they normally can't do themselvesbrVery nice frame 😎🇦🇺👍 Comment from : @markjmaxwell9819 |
Amazing job from the house brand at Walmart OT is making amazing products, great work Comment from : @antoniomontana1975 |
I want this as my first bike Comment from : @BlixxardRC |

I’m 6’ 180lbs What’s the difference in reality between the 17” and 19” frame and what would you recommend? Comment from : @terpencar |
I was trying to get into the sport and was looking at the Ozark I grabbed a Kona Mahuna on a close-out sale for $600 that had most of the upgrades I would’ve wanted to put on the Ozark However, my husband is going to get into the sport with me as well and pending other sales or a good used buy -he will probably end up with an ozark Comment from : @MrThejunkman |
398, I payed 325 Comment from : @andrewbetrosian2784 |
It's surprisingly pretty decent I'm impressed People forget that not everyone has money for a $5k bike, or isn't yet ready to spend more than a few hundred till they are really dedicated Comment from : @bicyclelife7088 |
I bought one a couple mouths back and I’m not good at biking kinda making a small course in the woods be hide my house and yesterday I was riding and my front rim bent and I Almosg went over the handle bars going to get better rims soon, I don’t think I hit a rock but idk Comment from : @aj255gaming |
That's a entry level bike for a new rider 180mm rotors won't make a single difference That bike will never go hard enough and the rotors won't get hot enough to need them 160mm is OK especially with the bite of cable brake Jmo Comment from : @veecox2118 |
I just bought one and it broke as soon as I started pedaling 🤷♂️ Comment from : @sloshsauce666 |
Got this bike and it’s absolutely trash Returned it next day Comment from : @Highupp |
Looks like I’ll be selling my Axum I’ll be honest I own a handful of Ozark trail products I’ve been very impressed with their products I’m looking forward to bringing one of these home Comment from : @soldierboy425 |
Getting into mountain biking I am 268 pounds and 5'7 I seen the medium version at Wal Mart Wondering well it hold my weight well ? Comment from : @kennyjdm4912 |
Thanks a bunch for this vid Really surprised to find that hidden gem in the ozark line Stopped out to local Walmart and you were spot on about quality and feel Walked out with one It had better componentry than the more expensive models beside it The 275 OT model felt and looked cheap in comparison People are paying 1000-1200 for SE big bikes…but this 29 wheelies just fine Hashtag WalmartBikeLife! Comment from : @Robotron2084Guide |
Hey great video! I wanted to ask what you would choose between the Grand Canyon 5 or this? Looking at my first bike purchase Comment from : @hector8147 |
Remember when the nishiki colorado came with an NX deraileur? 400$ id like to see a better crank/chainring or a deraiuler with a clutch but outside that this bike is ready to ride Comment from : @dylandean5043 |
I dont get why they dont start putting narrow wide chainrings on these-such a cheap massive difference Comment from : @dylandean5043 |
If you'd have to pick between this one and the Giordano Intrepid (currently at $529 @ Giordano's Website), considering the Giordano more refined frame, Hydraulic Brakes and Thru Axle, based on frame geometry, which one would you choose? Thanks! Comment from : @Satorikn |
Just bought one! Picking it up today! Comment from : @jonathandavis2469 |

Comment from : @IMSeanK |

Picked this one up few days ago Haven't had a mountain bike, or any bike in 15 years What a thrill - rides like a dream At 62 years of age, it's so great for my overall physical and mental health, while having a blast Not even knowing if 29" was a good choice bought it anyway Overwhelming how fast this bike can gobrbrIf you are good to your body - your body will be good to you 🚴🚴♀️ Comment from : @BonafideToolJunkie |
So the rear spacing is 135? Ugh I hope its the same as the Ardor Comment from : @kevinstanfa8151 |
I want to change the brakes for hydraulic ones, which ones work for this bicycle? Comment from : @TheJulianortega |
Just picked up one that was returned to $110! A few scuffs and the dork disc broken from the chain slipping off the last gear Excited to tinker with it and get to riding Comment from : @chriscarmack1016 |
Quick questions I’m 5’4 with a 5’7” armspan Would the medium fit me? I see it has a long stem that I could replace with a short one Also, could it take 275 wheels with say, 26 tires? Comment from : @kevinstanfa8151 |
I went to 2 Walmarts, couldn’t find one with a large frame I am a bike noob I just wanted something decent, not looking to do the dew tour or impress anyone with a brand Comment from : @kingteb |
