people getting sick at 48fps is the same thing as people being scared the train was gonna drive through the screen when they first saw an animated picture its just something that people have to get accustomed to and it wont be a big deal gamers look at 60fps and higher for hours at a time and they are totally fine

Took 13 years cuz they filmed the 3rd movie along side way of the water with pre production for the 4th leading up to 5 witch I also believe will be filmed back to back I wouldn't doubt if they started 4 already to keep a steady pace instead of the 13 year gap

The fact that they did most if not all the water scenes under real water just makes the wait totally worth, since even most devices that can record under water to this day are water resistant instead of water proof

When I saw Avatar 2, I saw it in 3D with higher frame rate However it was nice for the first 15min but I had a headache and motion sickness from the 3D I could easily tell when the frame rate changed which annoyed me so much, I had to take off my 3D glasses because I was close to throwing up from it I really enjoyed the movie but missed a couple minutes because I had to use the toilet

Just watched this in a Cineworld 3D 4DS - it was bloody AMAZING!! The CGI is ground breaking, fucking beautiful! Experienced no eye or head ache after over 3 hours of film and I never watch 3D stuff normally so certainly not used to it

I just saw this in IMAX 3D and it was a brilliant piece of filmmaking! And good thing I purchased my tickets way in advance because it was sold out I go to the movies all the time and haven't seen a theater that packed since Endgame So yeah, I think that this film will be successful 👌

I wasn’t impressed by avatar one I thought it was mediocre, but mostly because of the acting and some of the story development But I thought avatar two was much much better After the first 30 minutes, the acting and storylines are noticeably much better than the first film, And the movie is just better overall Even better visual effects too, and I saw it in the 3-D and thought it was well dug And I’m actually somewhat interested in avatar three That may seem like not a good comment but considering how underwhelmed I was for the first avatar, this is actually an accomplishment It is set in the same world, but it is much more interesting The water did look very real and natural looking just like he was hoping for so I guess the wait was worth it

I saw it this week and loved it purely because it's so visually stunning and the action scenes were really well shot and choreographed much better than many recent moviesbrbrI didn't know it was shot at higher frame rates, but I noticed that some scenes felt like they were being played back at slightly more than regular full speed, if that makes sense It was as if they had sped up some scenes just so they could squeeze as much into the running time I also noticed that the editing was sometimes very fast and kind of abrupt, as if they had cut out parts of scenes So I wonder how long the inevitable Extended Edition will be when they restore those cut scenes?!?
