My aporoach has similaritiesbrI deposit ALL $$ into Robinhood, who pays me 1 fir depositing,5 interest on the $$ & 3 IRA match to buy high yeilding dividend paying ETF's, so its a 4x's win situation ( oh they also lend out some stocks ,ETF's & pay a premium for it) 1 more layer will be writing options thats a win X's 5 !

I have much more than 5 accounts and I have no formal system on allocation 😂 I feel like if you are involved with your money they build up and you have to par them down once every couple years Most of the money is in my main HYSA with the next three largest being the HYSA offered by my brokerage, a brick and mortar savings account, and my main checking account I have misc accounts like Wise for travel and a few business accounts as a result of past investments
