Have you tried weighing them? I wager the 999 is a tad heavier, and the diff is going to be the "impurities"? If you can find 9999 at the same premium, go for it, but don't spend more for it

I agree, it shouldn't matter Both are fine silver The Royal Canadian Mint issued a 5-9's coin way back when, and the Royal Silver Company also issued a series of 5-9's rounds They are really pricey mainly because of its' rarity than its' purity
