I just put the KO3's on my truck a couple of weeks ago I live in Upstate, NY, and we've been getting pounded with snow this year I cannot say enough good things about them They're traction on moderate to deep snow is awesome Hard pack and ice, it stops pretty quickly Wet roads and slush, fantastic Only downside, they are pricy, mine were about $1700 installed, out the door Good luck to anyone in the market Comment from : @ramtough4384

I took my Baja boss ats off with 104k miles and still having 6/32 left 275/55r20 7000 pound Denali and tow often Tires were phenomenal in everything for me brCurrently have the cooper stronghold ats trying them out Really prefer the Baja boss ats Coopers are squirmy and louder Don’t handle as good brAt 7/32 tho for the Baja boss ats wet traction took a major hit brThe new nitto terra grappler g3s look pretty good I’m considering them Gonna have to do amazing for me to try them tho because so far I’m going back with the Baja boss at brThe Toyo at3s handed great in dry but overall they were ok Baja boss did better at everything tho and lasted longer Comment from : @jwatt95

Made me proud I picked up the MT Baja Boss ATs, in LT, for my 4Runner Live in the mountains of Utah, and these feel stickier on snow and ice than my Duratracs, and they ride softer, head to head against the Duratracs They aren’t just tires, they’re an upgrade! I have the Nitto's on both my chevy K2500 and my little ranger and I love them, our local tire shop had one heck of a good sale price on them compared to BF goodwichs I live in a need everything area, we get lots of lake effect snow, ice storms, rain, and really hot summers that said it does have a weakness one most people might not discover if you let it go flat and dont air it up right away, it will perm-deform very quickly I bought a set of used rims, all four had just enough of a deformation to cause a rim leak I didnt notice, came back from a 3 day vacation, and in just those 3 days of being flat, they had a noticeable thud once refilled on new rims amazing tire, but if you let em go flat, they never really ever recover from it Comment from : @pepsilove6306

I bought the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss tires for my new F150 Powerboost I bought them because I think they are the best looking A/T tire on the market But when the snow and ice hit, I was amazed by how great they were! I towed a 9500lb trailer from the PNW to south Texas and back and once again I was really impressed with how they performed A couple other guys at work bought them after seeing mine and they also rave about them Mickey Thompson really hit a home run with this tire Comment from : @thebarslug

@OutdoorAuto My truck came with General Grabber ATP (more of a highway all season than AT tire) LT265/70/18 C, and are worn to the point that the (not full depth) sipes are not as effective and I think it's time to step it up to something with full depth sipes and better winter performance, but want to try to keep it comfortable, not kill fuel efficiency, etc I always ran separate winter tires on my Subarus, but trying to avoid that here as I live in the city and don't drive in snow/ice that muchbrbrI was previously sold on the AT3/W but the worse winter performance in reviews of the AT4/W has me concerned Would the KO3 be a better choice on an F150 for year round travel trailer towing and dirt road adventuring, out of Seattle? Seems like a great choice, but not sure how it will handle on wet highways in the winter months I want a good all-rounder that will not disappoint on winter passes for family travel/skiing and maybe even towing up to a ski area RV lot or over a snowy pass once or twice a year, but be more capable/durable than a road tire for some mild adventuring off the pavement Trying to avoid separate winter tires, so the great snow/ice traction of the KO3 definitely got my attention Comment from : @pasichnyk

I know this is apples to oranges, but 12 years of winter driving in my Subaru, plowing snow with my front bumper, towing and hauling way over 2,000lbs on a untouched snowy logging road with sipes worn bald left with only big treads on my blizzaks and never struggled, little tire spin at times and it pulls out Got a 1500 Silverado, slapped on brand new hakkapeliitta LT3 studded tires, and I slip on 3" of snow, had to throw it in 4WD to slowly crawl out Went off-road once and was STRUGGLING HARD in 6 inches of snow, had to forward reverse multiple times to move down the trail this was in 4WD and locked rear axle at 20psi, but I had no steering, kept plowing straight no matter what steering angle, this was with at least 350lbs in the bed I can't imagine people offroading in these trucks/SUV with non-true-winter all terrains Comment from : @gwot

recently installed the Baja Boss's on my 5th gen 4runner, reside in midwest Just had snow packed/icy road conditions and these did well, far better than KO2's that I ran on my last 4runner on road anyway Looking to get these off road soon to keep trying different conditions Definitely a dedicated winter tire for packed ice would be better but like it was stated there's always a compromise Heavy tire, little more noise, still a decent ride but I bet they'll shine in almost any off road condition Comment from : @ljbellr

Alaskan here, drive a Montero with AT4W in 4wd on dirt, snow, ice, rain and hard-packed ice/snow and it performs fine I break trail often and have been through 16 inches of fresh snow prior to the plow truck cleanings My older Tahoe runs BFG KO2's without issue I don't mind slipping a little here and there but every once in awhile the "black ice" will surprise you Comment from : @lenzothegreat
