I think the '93S is undergraded PCGS really hammers the lower midgrades, especially brMorgans This coin is a VG10 all day long, weak rims or not Lots and lots of detail still there Good range coins are supposed to have very little detail left in the devices Comment from : @timber72 |

I dunno Ben you know we love you but the eagle on the 23S Peace is kinda hit fairly hard - including that Jack the Ripper slit across the neck My useless opinion vs your experience says 63 is fair for that one As far as the Augies go, wellthey're not 33's so graders actually do pay attention to the knees, and IMU(useless)O you got fair grades on those too I actually was going to say it was the 93-S that you got shafted on - ah but VGs usually need rims How are 93-S's usually struck? If they tend to be well struck you're probably stuck with the grade, but if they tend to be weak maybe the crew at NGC might go VG8 for you Oh well Hey at least you educated us again :-) Great videos and MUST SEE TEEVEE as always Comment from : @louissicajr |

Hi, Ben 4 Steller had me expecting the $4 Stella Words matter The reverse of the 23 Peace Dollar must be what brought the grade down The obverse looks better On the Sts plus signs, they just didn't quite make the 66 grade, so would you rather they not put a plus sign and leave it at simply 65, or do you like the plus sign as a reason to justify a higher price? As a buyer, I would rather it be 65 and pay a 65 price I can tell if it has superior eye appeal I can tell if it is at the top of the grade range I don't need a price-increasing plus sign I guess there will always be a differing opinion between buyer and seller when a coin is on the borderline of the next higher grade I sure don't think PCGS should just go ahead and give a coin a higher grade If it is not worthy of the higher grade, it's not Your point about the higher value coin having a smaller population reinforces my opinion Especially with such a big price jump between grades brbTYU/b Comment from : @donaldinnewmexico |
