I've got a 5" Stainless Springfield Loaded 1911 and love it However, I've really been jonesing for a 425 Commander TRP, possibly to become my primary CCW I think that I saw a TRP review the other day (1911 Syndicate, maybe) that said that the 5" TRPs are lighter (maybe aluminum slide) and that the Commander TRPs are all steel and, thus, a bit heavier Is that true? A little heavier doesn't bother me and, in fact, for shorter-barrelled guns, I find a little more weight to be good Comment from : @velikijoxotnik

I'd rather conceal a fullsize over a compact always I'm disabled and have really bad arthritis and with my condition it's easier to grip a fullsize faster or in a pinch than a compact anyways ill figure out how to conceal it if it feels good and fits my hands it's worth it Comment from : @khtrucking6962

Coyote brown might be okay on Glocks, but my 1911s are black, blued steel or stainless I also have a few two-tone models I'd take a mediocre 1911 with no rail over a premium 1911 any day Hell, I'd take a Hi-Point over a 1911 with a rail A rail on a 1911 is a hard NO! I've always considered 20 lpi checkering to be unnecessarily aggressive for the mass audience Yeah, I know why the do it, but those people are still carrying Glocks I do like my TRP, but I'm not the only one that shoots it She'd want one for herself if the checkering was 25 lpi and I'd make sure she got it I have a TRP and a Professional, but I'd like to see just how improved the new TRP is Comment from : @jaydee5156
