I like to spend money on courses! I love learning new things and online courses are so convenient I'm still in my decluttering debt phase so not much goes to extraswhen I do want to splurge I'll get some 'fancier' groceries and make a more special supper for my familyoh! and travel-that's worthwhile spending to me :)

I live by the saying "the poor can't afford to be cheap" I am still in debt, and barely getting by paycheck by paycheck, but all things I own are high quality Higher quality lasts a longer time, and ends up making life easier, and maybe even cheaper brbrMy winter jacket is 400e cashmir wool coat Its super high quality, stays dry in the rain, keeps warm at -30c, looks good enough for formal events, with a suit, but casual enough for every day life It's the only coat I own, and I think it will last at least 10 years more, maybe 15brbrSame with my winter boots, 300e, Gore tex, warm, steel toe, flexible, real leather, matches the jacket, comfortable to walk, ergonomic, very tough materials, can be used for long distance hiking in the forest at winter, but still looks good enough to wear even at formal events I doubt they will break any time soonbrbrI try to use the same logic with everything I own The hardest are the electronics, because the quality is not common or easy to find, also it becomes outdated pretty quickly But the phone I got now seems pretty good 300e, waterproof, protective case, small, fast enough for common apps If I don't fuck up royally, it could also last a decade easybrbrI am also always asking myself, what do I actually need

This series of Livingroom Conversations has been my favorite of all the things you've done thus far They are short, fun to listen and watch, and add purpose I was called a minimalist about 14 years ago by a mother of one of my daughter's friends when my daughter was in the third grade I had never heard the term I guess I've always been that way And now it's a big movement Who knew? 😊

My gym membership adds so much value to my life It’s $150/month, which many would say is insane, but the joy and value I get out of it is immeasurable compared to other gyms I’ve tried My gym is a group of my friends and supporters, it helps me set and strive to achieve personal goals, it pushes me mentally, helps me practice focus and perseverance, it is a great pastime and provides awesome social interaction with like minded people It provides opportunities for philanthropic donations of time and money through their events as well I get so much more out of it than just a monotonous exercise that I have to force myself to go do
