A couple of things brbr1 Not everything you buy should be thought of an investment, so of course a car will depreciatebr2 Believe it or not some cars today are probably good investments, but they are not cheap So say a Honda S2000, or any other discontinued car that car enthusiasts want (not your boring SUV)br3 You should probably spend no more than 1/2 your yearly salary on a new car or about 10 of your monthly income for a new carbr4 If you cannot afford to buy the car new, DO NOT buy it used as maintenance is beyond your means (that means no used BMW or Audi)br5 Just because you have kids does not mean you need a big SUV

And three blocks away from meijer we got our truck from a drunk driving accident and our old van was worth about $2000 the insurance company gave us $5500 and we bought a 2017 Dodge Ram for my tree business!

Life is too short for me to drive one car for a life time I had 11 cars so far and don’t regret it And yes I own homes too Happiness is about enjoyment and positive emotions Save for what exactly?? So you can take your savings to grave? Your saved money means nothing if you didn’t enjoy your once given life This is not to say don’t put some aside for rainy days We pay interest? It's not cars per se, but corrupt government, violent dangerous cops who want to shoot you (basically all law enforcement), mandatory insurance requirements (insurance companies never cover or pay, just increase your rates and you have to legally let them rob you), mechanics who ruin your cars, bad roads that destroy your car
