I had a 3/8 Electrum shekel Look for it in CNG Camerata Romeu Collection 3/8 shekel, Carthage or Iberia I love coins from Kyrenaica, the plant in question is SILPHIUM ! It has been found again ! I read it was used to induce abortions, since there was child sacrifice in Carthage and likely Kyrene and other North African cities Lovely stuff I also acquired 2 Kyrene didrachms, looks like a hoard was found recently
