I too stack Morgans I stack Peace dollars, too Like you, I don't care that much about numismatics, so the coins don't have to be in the greatest shape I lump my Morgan and Peace dollars into my "junk" 90 silver stack, although I do realize that the dollar coins are valued a little higher than the usual method (face value x some multiple) that applies to quarters, halves, and dimes

I get my Morgan silver dollars from my Local coin 🪙 shop I’m a regular customer My LCS lets me cherry pick culls from circulated condition I have been buying peace and circulated Morgan’s melt price for worst looking coins melt price is around 2450

You need to check your math on the last 4 you bought for $9980 That is not $2470 but $2495 each Question, buyers have to pay E Bay 12 on coin sales so why would someone sell below spot? They would be getting under $2200 per coin which seems foolish to sell them at that price I'm not saying they didn't but seems like they need a math lesson also

The good thing about 1921 Morgans is that you can get them cheap, and they almost always contain their full silver weight, since they didn't get circulated very much at all Most people just kept them when they got them, and passed them down

Why would anyone sell silver dollars under melt? I think I might know why Six Morgans weighing a total of 1557 grams averages out to 2595 grams per coin That's too light I'll bet at least one of those Morgans is fake 🤔🤐

We got the same idea to stack Morgan’s but I prefer to stack them in XF condition since culls are at 27 while XF is way better condition for 31

There's SO MANY fake Morgan dollars out there, I refuse to touch them Sure, they can usually be returned, but it's ALWAYS a hasslebrI stack mosty dimes, but also quarters and halves because China isn't flooding America with fake 90 dimes
