Here is the rest of the story, if you start taking benefits after your FRA and continue to work past your FRA and contributing to SS, your benefit will continue to grow due to the Delayed Retirement Credits This will result in a larger monthly benefit when you eventually decide to fully retire It’s essential to consider your individual financial situation and retirement plans when deciding when to claim SS benefits!

I became a widower in 2006 Now at 59 1/2 I have learned that I make too much money to draw my wife's SS brWhat I have found out first hand is that the government can steal money that rightfully belongs to me They did nothing to earn that money I was married 19 years to a wonderful woman and never remarried in order to get her SS Success is punished in this country and failure is rewarded Nobody can live on 21,24000 which means I will have to work the rest of my life
