I bought a Star Wars Royal mint coin for about $42 As a stacker I knew the spot value was only about $32 at the time, but I thought it was cool So I suppose it does depend on your own personal preference Most of my silver is basic stacking coins and rounds

My thing about the weird silver is I wouldn’t buy that for more than face ever(unless it’s old) or something special or historical) but like silver titanic coins stuff like that like 2001 twin tower silver) kinda mixed it’s who would want it the most,but when it comes too small gift type silver I wouldn’t buy it unless it’s undervalued or something I feel like we should collect all the non existent silver items like those trump coins etc should just be melted same for that Eagle I would just make my own bars or collect coins

People have to think about liquiditybrGoing to a coin shop with some fancy thing he's never seen before and expecting more than spot price is practically an insult Chances are he'll have to sell it to a refiner if it's some goofy thing that nobody wants That is the risk coin shops often take

If you buy silver or gold and stack for 10-20 years as a hedge against inflation it makes sense If you buy and sell and keep repeating this over and over, I think that in 2 years you will be at 25 after all the dealer commissions

I remember when gold was $250-ish for Christmas I bought all my relatives a 1/10th oz Krugerrand or Panda, can't remember which it was, but for under $30/coin, it made for a nice little gift

15:19 the original Pez dispenser was stamped metal, without a character head and was marketed as a smoking cessation device Similar in size shape and feel to a lighter of the time It would be cool if the dispenser was silver

$456 for how many ounces? I went to my LCS a few days ago and he was offering me $27/ounce when spot was about $3050 And I had a bunch of government backed coins from other countries including a complete 11 pc 2 oz set of silver Queen's Beasts collection I wasn't happy AT ALL They can rant and rave about how silver is a hedge all they want but I've had nothing but disappointment with the offers I've received on selling anything

I’m not 100 percent sure yet but I THINK I recently bought 7 fake 1 oz Johnson Matthey bars…I’m not 100 percent sure yet, just saw a picture of some fakes online this morninggotta get them checked tomorrow I know it sure does suck to say the least It’s the logo on the back of the bar that is suspicious and the etched serial number
