I think these strategies make all too much sense I love some of the ideas about how to get the students engaged and thinking There is too much passive learning going on in universities that is not very beneficial to the student - they need to be more involved and have a stake in what they are learning about to absorb information fully brbrI see no reason why TA's shouldn't be able to use these strategies - they are expected to teach the students the course material, and as such should use these kinds of techniques This presentation shows some great examples of how they can do these things even if they do not have very much experience teaching Comment from : @Felkums |
