I suspect you mean Freundschaftsbezeugung or Freundschaftsbeweis I've never heard Freundschaftsbezeigung in my life (I'm german) - Freundschaftsbezeugung comes from Freundschaft and Bezeugung (from bezeugen - to testify) and Freundschaftsbeweis from Beweis (beweisen - to give evidence, to prove something) Nonetheless, those two examples still prove your point However, it would be nice if you could get your examples straight Thanks! That moment, when you discover it is actually called Freundschaftsbezeigung instead of Freundschaftsbezeugung I'm German but wouldn't know Both versions sound wrong to me but I know the word Liebesbezeugung which is correct, so it is weird why we should say Freundschaftsbezeigung, I would never get it right myself and I'm sure most Germans will get it wrong 😂 Languages are strange sometimes, don't learn that word, it is useless anyway 😂

The only question mark I associate with the reading as you’re listening technique is that when we learn our first language this wasn’t an option for us Yet we learned our native languages so well and with little effort I’m wondering if learning a language without reading might be the better way to go about things

Freundschaftsbezeigung is a word you don't need to learn anyway, because nobody uses this word anymore since like 50 yearsbrIf you want a long german word, take Donaudampfschifffahrtsgesellschaft :)
