Went on road trips with all the vans except for the carnival, and I’ll say our favorite by far was the odyssey The back captain chairs on the Pacifica aren’t very comfortable The sienna gets amazing gas mileage but sometimes the engine really struggles getting on the highway when you have pass people on the road The odyssey feels purpose built, family hauler with interior materials that are made for longevity

I have a ‘22 Pacifica and a ‘23 Sienna No competition You really have to like Toyota to choose it over any of the better built and performing competition I have 45k on the Pacifica hybrid and 29k on the Sienna and can honestly say it’s less comfortable, less tech, less intuitive, and buzzy engine It’s only pro is that it’s awd but that’s not a deal breaker if you have great snow tires Chrysler shines with decades of practice here in design and usability Everyone who rides its their favorite

I'm gonna guess that the majority of people are not going to care about the comfort of the seats and how a vehicle handles or the wind noise These companies have all been making cars for a long time and most of us have faith that those things are going to be "good enough" for us What I think matter more, is reliability and quality of the materials Why is KIA so cheap? Is Korean labor that much cheaper? Will I get 10 years out of these vehicles? Just because everyone has a fold down seat in the back doesn't mean all those boxes should be checked Which one will last the longest? Who has the most warranty claims? I love that you guys did this video and I'm rooting for you I currently have a Dodge Caravan that I will be replacing soon This was the worst vehicle I have ever owned in relation to problems This vehicle had all the features and price point I wanted though

I think this review wasn't quite on par and was heavily geared towards the Kia I think the true winner is the Chrysler Pacifica who can beat stow and go storage and they're all wheel drive system is one of the best The price is not much different than a loaded KIA van And let's not forget the comfort in the ride of the van is top-notch with great electronics and user adaptability

I will echo the need for realiability and resale value as well I, for one, would never buy another Kia becuase of the resale value problems I've had in the past I feel getting the most bang-for-your-buck comes at a possible steep price

We purchased a Pacifica in 2022 We liked the Kia and Honda Both were asking for a premium in addition to full list price and the Kia dealer was asking for a $10,000 premium and would only order the top configuration, Which we didn’t want … who needs reclining rear seats? The top Kia configuration plus the up charge meant about $25,000 more than the Pacifica it was easy to walk away from the Kia And As an older couple, my back really loves the stow go seats in the Pacifica

The Sienna gives amazing gas mileage and in todays market that is what matters the most to most consumers I test drove the Pacifica Hybrid as well and liked the vehicle and drive quality but the Chrysler badge makes me nervous in terms of long term reliability

As someone who grew up in a 2000? Chevy van with probably first gen single tiny scree entertainment system I found the negative comments on usb ports and entertainment systems highly amusing lolbrStow & go is definitely a must for cargo purposes

I think the issue with these comparisons is how they weight the categories and no way to see reliability With the honda and toyota, you know they will last for a decade with oil changes and minimal preventative maintenance Also their interiors never have a fake upscale feel, but are going to hold up well with kids brbrRealistically none of us hear are about to drop north of $45k on a minivan and sell it in 3 years, we are gonna keep it 6-7 years brbrI know the sienna got last in their test, but the odyssey doesn't have AWD, and 50 better fuel economy is no joke I simply don't have enough faith in the kia product at this price point (to their credit, they have been doing well, remember when Hyundai was a joke?) And know full well the Pacifica will fall apart within the first 2 years

Seems like these reviews are specifically for the higher class Most people who drive minivans are for people with more than 2-3 kids, which does not lend itself to being upperclass Those with larger families will look at reliability, price, a little entertainment, and fuel economy The base siennas hit on most of these That is why I have seen many more of these lately I would consider the Pacifica PHEV, but I know too many people that have been burned by Chrysler groups (CJRDP) poor reliability and longevity

My 2015 sienna has over100k miles and everything still works like they should Let Kia and Chrysler do that I’m not crazy about the new siennas… but if I had to choose I would still buy a Toyota or Honda… sorry but reliability is the biggest factor for me and many other minivan users

I have Sienna XLE and front seats adjust up and down just fine You can sit as low as in sport car Bottom seat button presses not only forward backward but up and down as well if you dont know
