Hybrid has a disadvantage by providing a salary they have room for high risk strats If they lose they fall back on salary But clients dont have that luxerybrbrDont get me wrong Its the bestt option but not foolproof

Best approach imo It is better to encourage people with promising bonus than to scare them with their financial independence The safety of a paycheck is the foundation of their growth It's also a lot safer in case of credits

That's a good rate Because 100k is a low-ish but fair wage for knowledge work So if your associates have to back off the grind for a bit (life happens) they aren't starving

Mine must have been salary Had a work injury that left me disabled On permanent restrictions Physical therapy for 3 years 2 surgeries The The most I can lift is 25lbs from floor to knee, for example And the weight gets lower the higher I go Did nothing I asked Didn't start the bidding nearly what I asked Would say, we can go to court if you want to go that far but who knows what will happen You could get a fraction of what your asking I checked around for another attorney Would have had to pay both of them All he did was ph work (not saying he shouldn't get anything for his time, but not the same as the new one if the new one took over from we were at) I feel like he baited me before he got hired Asked me how much I made Said, ok, you're this age(32 early 2000s) retirement age is this age You would have made this much, roughly To make a long story short, lol, I got hosed big time It kinda felt like he worked for the insurance company So, no, I don't have much faith in lawyersbrbrEDIT: Don't bother responding if you were I don't get notifications anymore for some reason Same with likes It just stopped one day Maybe I made a wrong comment?

I used to have a comission based job, it was brutal when things were slow or you were unable to work It wasn't such a high paying career as lawyer, but still similar concept applies Hybrid would make for a more stable employment while still encouraging motivation Although I do wonder if you have a minimum earnings before people can start getting commission

If you read the comment section in YouTube videos and on Facebook groups about medical-related stuff people have such overwhelmingly negative stories about doctors constantly that it is insane and absurd I really think that doctors will benefit from being paid the way lawyers are because as of now they do not have an incentive to actually help patients properly

Going philosophical here, but the hybrid approach is definitely the best because of how many humans make decisions Having a straight salary can cause complacency and decrease quality, while commissions can cause people to complete work for a quota to make ends meet The hybrid approach, like everything, isn't without its weaknesses Complacency could still be an issue with the safety net, but the benefits far outweigh the costs

The whole "get them to settle quickly" is why generally lawyers aren't allowed to take a set percentage of winnings in Denmark It could unduly make the lawyer want to settle quickly even if it isn't in the best interest of the clientbrbrIf you stand to gain a commission of 5000 settling pre trial opposed to 7000 after a full trial - you're essentially only getting 2000 for the entire thing But for the client it could be the difference of 20 thousand at an increased cost of 2000 So the lawyer is acting against the intetest of his clients in order to maximize his own earnings
