I have taught english to 35 students around 15-25yo even if they are young adult they also want me to write down their name on the questions I made Not so different with prechoolers who want us sing their name

I am a new ECE Even though I have been a high school teacher for a long, long time, it is so different to handle the young children It is definitely my mistake to talk to the children in the circle time a bit loudly It made them more aroused and unsettled I observed that the head teacher of the class talked quietly and calmly in her circle times and they listened quietly 😂

I just started my first preschool job and the teachers scream at the kids all day! They tell me I’m soft, but I couldn’t imagine talking to the kids the way they do! For example, the teacher training me told the student “I can’t wait until your brother is born, that way your mom will go on maternity leave and I can get a break from you!”
