teaching an older woman for the first time i love this its so much easier teaching a 6 year old for some reason because kids just know some of these things the older woman just cant move forward on kickbourds but im gonna try lots of feet exersises i love your stuff, keep going

It was my first day at swimming and I couldnt bring myself to float belly down because would enter my nose( I had my first experience with water during a snorkelling event when a big wave hit me and swallowed enough water to drown myself if it were not for the life guard) We dont have a kickboard at our pool Just floaters I’m 30 y/0 It’s my second day tmrw and I will try to pick out lessons from on here and apply

I am 52, and has failed to even float even after trying for 3 months The biggest issue is that the water rushed into my ear as I move my head into the water This results in water being inside ear for a day or two and making it uncomfortable

When I was in 3rd grade my parents sent me to lessons at the "Y" I was a skinny/dense kid and had trouble floating on my back Could barely get air with my chin up The teacher told me to quit lessons and stay out of the water forever because I will never learn how to swim and will just drown Here I am decades later an old man that could only watch others having fun in the water my whole life Wish I had Jonny for an instructor as a kid Maybe some day I'll try again but I lost respect for most instructors
