I like the heraldic eagle best on my 2020 silver eaglesit looks like the real traditional symbol of US currency coins The pictures of these new eagles look more like an artist wildlife rendering on a medallion, and it lacks the 13 stars of the original colonies and has no shield

What a bogus design of the “flying Eagle” image Soooooo much reminds me of the 2014 Canadian “ Birds of Prey” series!! I think the early “Flying Eagle One Cent American penny” is a much more pleasing design Too bad they didn’t resurrect and use that design on the new Eagles Be safe, be well

I think the image going to the edge of the coins will result in it not wearing well Silver and Gold are soft metals True they will be in capsules In addition there is more likely to be greater die wear because the edge of a coin die goes first So you can probably expect more varieties and possibly even errors unless they really beef up quality control

It's hard to tell what the finished gold coin will look like so lets us not be too quick to judgebrI'm sure the Indian head and buffalo would have looked similar when the design was originally drawn on paper But once the design was casted into gold, it became one of the worlds most sought after coins

What is the point of the mint stamping $50 on a gold coin when your looking at or holding tangible gold money itself with the purchasing power of over $2,000 paper debt notes? Why not stamp it with $2,000 instead since it is actual gold and NOT paper? Same with silver Why in the hell does it say ONE DOLLAR That serves no purpose at all and to me just suggests a deliberate and ongoing psychological manipulation of what real money is

I don't like the gold version at all A whole eagle with an intense stare? Too simple It took me a while to appreciate the family of eagles bonding together on the back, but it is so unique and really impressive This is far less impressive The silver version is classier but like many people are saying it is more like a generic round than an official government coin That being said, the new Peace and Morgan silver 90 coins I suspect will replace the pure silver eagle as the coin of choice for world circulation by our government It is also interesting that they are putting out more and more 90 silver coins in our general circulation in America - are they doing a slow changeover to make our currency backed by silver? To reduce the level of the loss of the dollar's value? One can only hope
